At 'von der Räuberbande' we train and compete with our German Shepherds in show and IPO (formerly known as "Schutzhund") and breed with proven working lines for the sport.

It is with extreme sadness that I announce the loss of our beloved Bandit. He peacefully passed during a nap.

Today's is Bila's 3rd Birthday. Happy birthday (in no particular order) Bila, Bold, Boss (now Bonzai), Berit, Beowolf Kato, Balou and Blue. Unfortunately Bila is still waiting for her forever home.

The higher the age gets, the less you likely you are to celebrate the next one, so when my dogs become teenagers I start celebrating half and quarter birthdays. Bandit turned 13.5 on Friday and we had a date on Sunday to hike Kennesaw Mountain. It was a chore for both of us, but we did well and Bandit got treats along the way and a laser treatment afterwards. Love my boy!
