Farmer Derek just stocked the stand with fresh SWEET WHITE CORN and Sarah couldn’t be happier to greet him! 🐾

Sarah is a 2½-year-old, super friendly girl looking for her forever home. She’s great with other dogs, non-reactive to cats, and always full of joy. Currently about 30 lbs, she’s putting on healthy weight while she awaits her furever family!

Meet Geno! 🐾
This adorable 1-year-old, 15-pound boy was found as a stray and is now ready to find his forever family! Geno is a delightful mix of energy and affection—he loves to run and play but is just as happy curling up in your lap for snuggles.

He enjoys playing with other dogs and toys, though he may need a few minutes to warm up to new canine friends. Geno is great with kids and thrives on attention. He’s a smart little guy who’s still learning his basic commands, but with his love for treats and natural curiosity, he’s eager to please and quick to learn.

Geno does like to bark, so he’d make an excellent little watchdog, always ready to alert you when something’s amiss.

Meet Sarah! 🐾
Sarah’s rescue journey is a bit of a mystery. She was found right here in our neck of the woods, standing in the middle of the road with a harness on. A microchip traced her back to a rescue in Tennessee, but no one knows who adopted her, and despite posting on social media, no one came forward. That rescue has now officially surrendered her to us so we can help her find the forever home she deserves.

Sarah is about 2½ years old, spayed, and heartworm negative. She’s a bundle of enthusiasm with a sweet nature, good with other dogs, and non-reactive to cats. She’s currently boarding at our vet, putting on some much-needed weight — she’s about 30 lbs now and will be healthiest around 40 lbs.

Meet Oreo! 🍪
This sweet 5-month-old, 30–32 lb pup was found as a stray, but you’d never guess it—he’s all about love, play, and companionship! Oreo adores his toys, zooming around outside, and soaking up all the affection he can get.

He’s great with other dogs, cat-friendly, and already crate and house trained. This silly, lovable boy will keep you laughing with his goofy personality and melt your heart with his cuddles.

Meet Resin! 🐾
This handsome 10-month-old boy was loved deeply by his elderly owner, who sadly could no longer care for him. It shows—Resin has a sweet, gentle nature that draws everyone in.

At the rescue, he quickly became “that dog” all the others wanted to hang out with—he truly LOVES other dogs and would be happiest with a canine friend to play with. We don’t know about cats yet, but we do know he’s:
• Great on a leash
• A perfect passenger in the car
• House trained
• Playful—he loves a good game of fetch
• Friendly and easygoing—an all-around great dog

These 3-month-old hound mixes spent their early weeks enjoying life on their foster’s farm together before arriving at Dog Orphans.

Once skinny and in need of care, they’ve blossomed into healthy, bright-eyed pups with beautiful coats. They’re the best snugglers, with calm, sweet personalities that make them extra lovable.

Sadly, due to a housing situation, we must find him a new home where he’ll be safe, happy, and loved.

“My name is Oreo. I am 9 years and 8 mos. Due to no fault of my own, I am looking for a new forever home. My mom has been very sick in and out of the hospital for the last couple years and we recently had to move out of our home. Unfortunately, my mom cannot afford to or properly care for us anymore. I am very laid back. I enjoy walks. Chew toys really aren’t my thing. I love to cuddle with you on the couch and take naps. Treats and naps are my favorite past-time. I have been with my sister Lexi for 3 years but Mom feels that I would do extremely well in a home as the only dog, or a home with other dog(s) that match my lack of energy. Due to our new environment my sister and I did have a small scrabble. I do great meeting new people and with kids. It is unknown how I am with cats. I am having my physical and rabies vaccine in early September.”
