The Dothan Animal Shelter will soon be transitioning into Wiregrass Pets. Before that big move, we’re hosting a special Clear the Shelter Adoption Event to help as many pets as possible find forever homes.

⏰ 9 AM – 12 PM
📍 Wiregrass Pets, 2638 Hartford Hwy, Dothan, AL 36305

👉 Important to know:

All pets at this event are from the current Dothan Animal Shelter (not Wiregrass Pets animals just yet).
After the transition, Wiregrass Pets will provide support to adopters with questions or needs.
Same-day adoptions available (fees and requirements apply).
$85 for dogs $55 for cats

Come meet your new best friend and make moving day an adoption day! 💛

Temperatures are going to dramatically decrease this week and will be dangerous for outside pets. Please bring your animals inside, or at the very least, be sure they have a way to stay warm. Stay safe!
