This isn’t our usual post, but today isn’t a usual day.

We need to take a moment to talk about how this job—this life in the grooming world—isn’t just about baths and haircuts. Over time, our clients become more than just customers. They become friends, chosen family. And their pets? They become part of our hearts.

Today we’re grieving the unexpected loss of one of our beloved pups, Whoo Whoo. He wasn’t just a client—he was family. He brought love, joy, and so much personality into our shop every time he walked through the door. Losing him has shaken us more than we can put into words.

To Whitney and JC: thank you for trusting us with him. We’re sending you all the love we’ve got.

And to Whoo Whoo—run free, sweet boy. You were deeply loved, and you’ll never be forgotten.

I’m not okay today, and that’s okay. Some dogs leave paw prints on our souls, and Whoo Whoo was one of those.
