At Green Horse Farm, you don’t just observe the animals—you can pet, feed, and even hold them. From baby pigs and goats to llamas, emus, zebra, and more, many animals freely approach visitors, creating memorable moments for guests young and old.

Your admission includes a wagon ride through the grazing fields, and you can upgrade to a camel ride for around $5. The camel’s swaying gait offers a novel and unforgettable experience.

Take a day trip to Green Horse Farm for memorable experience for the whole family.

Our farm stands out for its intimate, hands-on experiences with animals in a peaceful, rural environment. It offers a more personal and community-oriented experience compared to the broader, often more commercialized experiences found at larger wildlife parks. This makes it a unique destination for those looking for a closer connection to animals and nature.

The main attractions are the petting zoo and the horse drawn carriage ride out into to our fields where you'll meet many large, exotic animals. You can also ride on a camel and try your hands at cow miling with our cow milking machine.
We are very uncommercialized. So we do not have concession stands and vending machines. Therefore we recommend you bring a picnic lunch if you plan to stay all day. We do have cold water and soft drinks available and a lovely pavilion where you can enjoy a picnic lunch. The kids also love a giant playground area.

We are also a popular place for birthday parties. You can book birthday parties almost any day and time during the summer, late spring and early fall seasons.

While most wildlife parks allow viewing from a distance, at Green Horse Farm interaction is our priority. You can pet a camel, hold a piglet, or get up close with zebras, emus, deer, and more. In contrast, typical wildlife parks enforce enclosures or guided viewing—here, you walk among the animals.

We also offer camel rides at $5 each—a rare offering outside zoos or exotic animal farms. With over 100 animals, including exotic species like Highland cows, zebras, ostriches, and camels, you get more hands-on and diverse experience than many petting farms or wildlife preserves.

Owned and operated by an Amish family, everything here—from the wagon rides pulled by Belgian horses to the open, rural layout—feels intimate and laid-back, not commercial or overcrowded.

Here at Green Horse Farm Visitors overwhelmingly appreciate the intimate, hands-on interaction with a wide variety of friendly animals, the novelty and enjoyment of camel rides, scenic and relaxed wagon rides with feeding stops, a clean, well-managed space with helpful and welcoming staff, family- and accessibility-friendly facilities that work well for all ages.
Another thing visitors to the Farm like is the absence of commercialism. Here you see the only souvenirs available for purchase, deer antlers for $10., $20., and $30. for the large ones. We do have cold water and soft drinks available for just $1.00 for water and $2.00 for soft drinks.
