When your Hershey & Cherokee (long haired chocolate doxies) are paired and you pray for one dapple baby…the Lord gives you TWO!!! I held them in their first moments and literally cried happy and thankful tears once they were dry. One is a split faced chocolate dapple and one is an Isabella dapple; and both girls! This is the only pairing I have ever prayed for color; specifically for a dapple girl. All I ever ask for is healthy mommas and healthy babies and thank you Lord for the folks we get to meet through them. But, God…he blessed us with two and we are just tickled.

While this is the most highly sought after color pattern in the country and female to boot, Jonathan says they both stay right here and I agree!

Our chocolate beauties need strong names. What do ya think they should be?

Due to absolutely NO FAULT of their own, we have some awesome doxies that are back to sniffing out their trail to you. Health checks are done, we will just need to update the certificate for you. Some have also had their rabies vaccination ($100 vet visit per doxie). All are ready and waiting for you to take over snuggling!

Let’s talk cancellations and deposits (now required).

Since we began this journey and life of raising doxies, we have never required a deposit. We prayed about that subject and decided that was best; for that time. We believe you don’t pay until the work is done. But, when the work is done you get paid. At the same time…we understand “things happen”, believe me. We get it.

However; over the last several months we have noticed an uptick in chosen doxies, we take to vet for health certification ($50 visit per doxie), some we have held onto for a few extra weeks to give folks time for various things, etc, this results in holding the doxie beyond 12 weeks which results in us being required to get their rabies vaccination and third parvo ($100 vet visit), not to mention the additional food, dewormer, time for socialization, etc.

When you cancel this has not only added additional finances being poured into one doxie, but also makes that doxie older and sadly “less desirable” because folks want a cute 8 week old puppy. We enjoy when we hang on to them a little longer because we get to see their little characters begin to show. However; at the same time we have turned down many folks who also inquired about the same doxies that were chosen only for them to move on and find one elsewhere.

Our pups are cute, happy and healthy from the start so I have ZERO worries even our few four month olds won’t be placed. We believe God has a divine appointment for every family and meet up.

With all this being said, from this point forward, we are going to begin accepting a $300 nonrefundable deposit (unless you are a repeat family or referral from an Abundant Life Canines family). This amount will be deducted from the total with balance due at meetup. We accept Venmo and cash.

Requiring a deposit DOES NOT make us a scammer.

When you choose your pup we finish our job in raising him or her. We pour a LOT of time, energy, money, and loss of sleep into raising you a top quality happy and healthy doxie.

Ah, this fluffy little guy just makes me smile! Leah chose him not long after I announced their existence (once coats were confirmed). He has been so much fun to watch grow.
