Donna Shelter Overview
Donna Shelter is a city-run animal shelter facing an overwhelming number of stray dogs, cats, and owner surrenders. With only 16 kennels, our limited space makes it challenging to accommodate the constant influx of animals. We are not an adoption center and rely solely on rescue organizations to save the animals in our care.
We work tirelessly to avoid euthanasia, but the reality of our space constraints means we urgently need support from rescue partners. Our efforts to engage the community include collaborating with high school students in the vet tech program and inviting local residents to assist with walking and socializing the dogs.
We are actively seeking rescue partners to help us save more lives and provide the necessary care these animals deserve. Your support is crucial in helping us continue our mission and ensure the well-being of the animals at Donna Shelter.
