We love all pets, and their safety and well-being are always our top priority. That's why we've established specific policies regarding new senior pets and those with health concerns we haven't groomed before.
Senior dogs or those with existing health issues, grooming can sometimes be more stressful than normal. Without a prior relationship, it's challenging for us to accurately gauge their individual needs, behaviors, and how they might react to the grooming process. To ensure the safest and most comfortable experience for these beloved companions, we typically do not accept new senior clients or pets with significant health problems that we haven't previously groomed.
For the senior pets we do groom, we kindly ask their pet parents to remain in the building. This allows you to be there to comfort and reassure your pet if they become anxious or stressed.
We also want to be clear: we are not comfortable grooming new to us senior pets that require sedation!
Finally, our salon is a place of respect. We cherish our relationships with clients and their pets, and we expect the same in return. Disrespectful language, bullying, or cussing will not be tolerated. Comments like "if she dies she dies" are not only deeply offensive but also unacceptable and a stark contrast to the loving care we provide. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who creates a hostile environment.
Thank you for understanding our commitment to providing a safe, positive, and respectful environment for every pet and person who walks through our doors.
