Most of you know I am taking down my house call shingle at the end of this month. It was a difficult decision and I will sincerely miss my clients and the furry friends I have gotten to know along the way. I will always be grateful and very honored that I was allowed into your homes to care for your friends. Be safe and take care!

Merry Christmas to all our furry critters!

Please enjoy your Thanksgiving, but be careful you don't spend Friday in a pet emergency clinic. Most foods on Thanksgiving are not good for our furry friends.

I can't believe I'm still seeing stories about pets left in cars this time of year. Please leave them at home! It takes no time at all to put a pet in jeopardy this time of year. Don't believe it? Sit in the car yourself for 20 to 30 minutes. We all know it's never a 2 minute errand....

It's hot out there this week, please take care of yourself and your pet. Provide fresh water and shade. And try to understand they will be wanting in and out a lot. They don't always understand it won't be different from 5 minutes ago.

Please keep your pets safe this time of year. Provide a quiet environment for them to ride out the fireworks.

Easter is on its Way! Precautions for your pets. Chocolate and high fatty foods can be toxic to dogs. Easter lilies and some plants can be toxic to cats. Please monitor your pets and make sure they have a safe zone if they get overwhelmed in crowds!

Merry Christmas to all creatures, great and small!

12/17/2018

As we get closer to Christmas, I'd like to remind people pets are not a great "surprise " gift for anyone. Pets are a lifelong commitment and should not be taken lightly. If you do get a pet, be prepared and know where they are coming from. Adopt when you can!
