Gator is a 2-year-old cremello gelding with a mind, body, and foundation far beyond his years. He has been ridden extensively across rough pastures and thick, unforgiving woods, proving himself to be sure-footed, level-headed, and willing no matter the terrain. He’s been used to check cattle, moving through a herd calmly and confidently making him an asset for ranch work. In the arena, Gator will lock onto the smarty like it’s his personal mission, tracking with focus and drive, and he has been lightly roping it from both sides. He’s already showing incredible promise as a rope or performance prospect, with the kind of athleticism and cow sense that can’t be taught.
Despite being young, he has the maturity of a seasoned gelding. Gator doesn’t overreact to new situations—whether it’s a flying flag or a completely new environment, he takes it in stride and stays soft and responsive. He’s exceptionally easy to be around: easy to catch, stands quietly to be groomed, bathed, and saddled, and is great for the farrier. He is 100% sound. He loads and unloads calmly.
Gator is hobble broke and will stand tied quietly for hours. He’s very soft in the face, giving to the bit with lightness and ease, and will carry the flag at any gait like it’s second nature. Around other horses, he’s respectful and gets along well in a herd setting. He has never once offered to buck, kick, bite, or rear—his willing attitude and gentle nature make him a joy to work with every single day. Every ounce of his training has been done by us, start to finish, and he proudly carries our brand.
