Distance work ,with some distractions, in the park with Miss Eleanora. Ellie is two working breeds combined, and loves the mental stimulation of training!

The come command is the single hardest command to teach a dog to do. Notice that even though Ellie is coming in quick, she still stops and automatically sits in front of me...all with a smile on her face! Happy girl!🄰🄰🄰

Welcomed little Miss Olive to the house today! Going to be working with her one on one for a few days to focus on walking on the leash, not jumping, and that famous puppy biting! I’m obsessed!šŸ˜šŸ˜

Duke is learning commands from a distance...we can’t always be right next to our dogs to keep them safe. He’s such a good man!!!

Starting some offleash training with my giant Duke. Duke is an 11 month (yep still a puppy and this big) German Shepard. He has 3 more weeks living with me and has already transformed into such a gentleman. You can see the distractions in the background...his family is going to beable to take Duke everywhere with him, which makes for a very happy dog life!! Can’t wait to see how much more amazing this big guy can get!

Happy International Left-Hander's Day! If you're wondering if dogs can be left or right-pawed, the answer is yes! A dog's brain is set up similarly to a human's brain. Their brains have two spheres that each have their own specializations. However, unlike humans where only 10% prefer to use their left hand, dogs are a lot more evenly distributed. One way to test which paw your dog prefers is called the "First Stepping Test." If your pup is at a level standing position, pay attention to which paw they lead off with when starting to walk. If you notice them leading with the same paw most of the time, there's a good chance that could be their paw preference.
Go check out more testing methods at akc.org to find out if your dog is left or right-pawed!

This massive boy is learning to sit when he approaches people. One jump from this guy, especially the bigger he gets, could injure the twin 2 year olds that he lives with at home, even if he doesn’t mean to. Little Big Man doesn’t know his own size.

Client Testimonial On Tuesday 9/17/2019 we started dog training with Lorenzo’s dog trainer, Brittany, for our dog Titan. When we started the training Titan was very hyper, did not listen very well, he would jump and try to get to other dogs when walking. He would basically walk us instead of us walking him. We had tried a trainer before Brittany and did not have any luck. We were feeling hopeless. He was having issues with cats and was always trying to go after them. So we had taken our dogs to a new vet office and I had asked them if there was a trainer they could suggest. At first they said no but sometime after I left Brittany and Kiley had stopped by the vets office and the vet immediately sent me an email with their information on it. I called and set up an evaluation. They came and did their evaluation, listened to our concerns and came up with a training plan. One thing I told them I wanted but didn’t think could happen was to get Titan off leash. Brittany and Kiley said they could make it happen, I was very skeptical at first. My husband and I decided to give it a try. We set it up for Brittany to come out on 9/17/2019 to start his training and I was very pleased on how things went. After just a few lessons we started to see a big difference in Titan’s behavior. We were walking Titan and he was not walking us. We were having less encounters with him jumping and trying to approach other dogs. After just a couple more lessons he was not paying very much attention to the cat that would haunt him outside. We are now wrapping up our training with lesson 10 and Titan is off leash. Yay!! We did 10 lessons, but Brittany also came and picked Titan up and worked with him several days without me. I want to say this was money well spent and exceeded my expectations! Brittany did an amazing job with Titan and yes, I had homework I had to do each week, but it was so worth it! I can now take Titan with me to restaurants and parks and things like that! Thank you very much Brittany for everything you have done!! I will definitely be referring Brittany and Lorenzo’s to other people.

Thanks,
Much love from the Roberts family!!
