The next Halcyon Summer Series Horse Show is this Wednesday, August 13! 9:00AM START. Pre-entries close tonight. During the show we will be holding "Adult Leadline"! We are having some fun classes after the final class for adult riders! All disciplines are invited! We will have the famous Martini March, our version of Musical Chairs on horseback, Egg and Spoon, and Break and Out. No fees for these classes but we will need everyone to sign up. Yes, of course trainers can ride too! It's all for fun! Free online entering for the horse show on RingRadar.

We have changed the late entry fee to a straight $10 rather than per class. If anyone would like to go over their series standings, please see Barb at the show or give her a call. Reminder, the final show counts for points but you must have competed in the section at three shows prior to that show to be eligible.

Just a reminder for the 2025 Halcyon Summer Series Awards you must compete in a section at three of the first five shows to be eligible The final show on September 7 counts for points but not for your show count. The remaining dates are tomorrow. July 23, the make up show on August 13, and the September 7 Finale.

Wednesday, July 9, is the Halcyon Summer Series July I show. The schedule has been updated on Ring Radar. Please pre-enter! We are expecting the entries of several barns soon. We understand this is a busy weekend.

9:00am START IN RING II WITH THE LEADLINE AND WALK TROT SECTIONS. Consensus was to start earlier to avoid the heat and afternoon storms. We will miss the shows "Under the Lights" in the cool of the evening.

The June 25 show was rescheduled for August 13. That is Robin Hawley's Birthday so we have decided to have our Adult Fun Classes after the show. (Family Leadline will be held during the show so the juniors can lead their parents/other adult). We would love to see our neighbors, pleasure riders, western riders, and event riders. The fun classes we will have fun classes for adult riders only. Martini March, Egg and Spoon, and an easy Obstacle Course and whatever else we come up with. Attire: Be creative but protective headgear requested. Entry Fee: Bring a dish to share. Prize donations graciously accepted.

Non- Horse Owning Friends:

If you are having fireworks for the 4th of July fireworks please give your neighbors who have horses a heads up tomorrow AM. It’s safer for the horses to just stay in the barn for a night. A horse that is scared and running is very likely to be injured.

The Halcyon Summer Series June 25 Horse Show has been rescheduled for Wednesday, August 13 due to the Extreme Heat Warning. This heat isn't safe for horse or human. Trainer/exhibitors poll...could we just pull the trigger and start these shows earlier so we don't have to be in the heat or worry about afternoon Thunderstorms? ALERT!!! PLEASE READ!!! Next Wednesday's Halcyon Summer Series Horse Show will be starting at 10:00am so that we can beat the afternoon heat. Trainers and exhibitors....please, please please get your entries in on Ring Radar so we can make a schedule that flows. This decision is being made a week ahead so that everyone can adjust their morning routine at home. At this time, without entry numbers in front of me, I'd like to start with the leadline and mini stirrup walk trot sections. Please share to make sure the word gets out. Thank you!
