Meet Your Groomer! ✂️🐾

Hello Dillon! 👋

My name is Ashley Burgess, and I am the new Owner and Groomer of Wag n’ Whisker Wash! 🐶 I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share a little about my journey.

I am 32 years old, born and raised in Colorado, where much of my extended family still lives. In 2013, while my husband was stationed in Colorado with the Army, I met the love of my life ❤️. We were just two young people who didn’t know much about the world, but we knew one thing for sure—we were crazy about each other. We got married in October 2015, the day after he returned home from a nine-month deployment. That man is Kyle Burgess.

On Christmas Day 2016 🎄, our little family grew from two to four when we welcomed our twin girls, Scarlett and Olivia, who have been our world ever since.

In 2018, my husband transitioned out of the Army, and shortly after, we made the decision to move to Dillon—his hometown. It has proven to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We have been surrounded by so much love and support ever since. Kyle is now a Cadre Instructor at the Montana Youth Challenge Academy.

This community has been an absolute blessing to our family. I have worked in healthcare since I was 19 years old 🏥, and over the years it has truly shaped who I am—teaching me the importance of patience, compassion, attention to detail, and genuinely caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. I am so excited to now extend that same level of care, patience, and compassion to your furry family members at Wag n’ Whisker Wash. 🐾💙

I am also the proud fur mom of a beautiful Basset Hound named Pam 🐶, two black Labs named Darcy and Hank 🐕‍🦺🐕‍🦺, and a yellow Lab named Lucy 🐕. They keep life busy, messy, and full of love—just the way I like it!

I truly love Montana and Dillon, and I look forward to meeting all of you—if I haven’t already—very soon! 🤍

I also want to give a heartfelt thank you to a few very important people:

First, my family. I would not have been able to take this leap without their support—especially my husband, my kids, and my wonderful mother-in-law, Susie Burgess, who have all helped make this dream possible. 💕

To Katy Banick—thank you for trusting me with something so special to you. I appreciate not only your guidance but your friendship. I have truly valued our time working together and your continued support. 🤝

And lastly, to all of my amazing friends—thank you for sharing, liking, commenting, and cheering me on in this new adventure. Even those of you who’ve stopped me in public to congratulate me—it means more than you know. 🙏
