Thank you to EVERYONE who helped get last night’s event ready.

We are working with RunSignup to extend the race date to July 11th and keep all bib numbers. We will hopefully have a live registration link by this afternoon, if not tomorrow.

Please keep your bib and we will honor all of your registrations! Runners who arrived, please tell your friends how fun it looked! We had over 300 registered for the event, and we’d love to add more!

Also thank you to the City of Dickson Police Department, Tennessee, Burns Police Department, and Dickson County Sheriff's Office, and the City of Dickson for their support in keeping the folks who arrived safe and pivoting quickly with our rescheduled date.

Glow Dog Glow is rescheduled for July 11th!

We are so thankful for all the volunteers who helped with setup for Glow Dog Glow. We were so excited for an awesome start - and we will have an even better one in just a few weeks.

Registration will reopen tomorrow and we are excited to have even more runners join us next month!

Let’s add 300 more runners!!!

We are SO pumped for Glow Dog Glow 5K and can’t wait to see everyone come out and support the Humane Society of Dickson County!

Whether you’re running, walking, or just coming out for the fun, we’re excited to spend the day with our amazing community and supporters. Your participation helps us continue caring for the animals who need us most.

The event is delayed by an hour.

This sweet girl was running across Alexandria Road off of Highway 96 and brought in via animal control.
She was not wearing collar and is not microchipped. Do you recognize her? Call 615-446-7387 or message our page, proof of ownership is required and she must be current on rabies vaccination prior to release. She has a three day stray hold ending on 6/16/2026 at close of business.

Happy Glow Dog Glow Day! 🐾✨

We can’t wait to welcome everyone tonight for the first Glow Dog Glow 5K & Meow Mile!

Packet pickup and online registration are open from 6 PM to 7:15 PM at the Humane Society.

Opening ceremony starts at 7:25 PM, Meow Mile starts at 7:30 PM, and the 5K will start around 7:45 PM.

Parking is available at Tennsco Corporate Office and Sewing Parts Online Warehouse.

Arrive early, wear your bib, bring your glow gear, and follow volunteer directions.

Glow check! ✨

Your packet includes glow sticks, but please do not stop there.

Glow necklaces, bracelets, clip lights, glow paint, light-up accessories, bright shirts, reflective gear, and safe dog glow gear are all encouraged.

Just make sure everything is secure and safe. Nothing loose, dragging, or likely to trip, scare, or bother another participant or dog.

Glow responsibly. Be a little ridiculous.
