🐾🍂 Sometimes the best things in life show up unexpectedly… right at your gate. ❤️

Here at Dickinson Bayou Ranch, we never quite know what each day will bring. But one day, someone decided they no longer wanted their dog and left him at our front gate.

Little did they know, they were leaving us one of the greatest gifts our family could have ever received. ❤️

That very same day, Pierson took one look at this sweet little dog and announced, “He looks like a banana!” 🍌

And just like that, his name became Banana!

No discussion, no other names needed. Pierson had spoken, and Banana was officially part of the family!

What started as someone else’s unwanted dog turned into one of the best dogs we’ve ever had. Banana has brought so much love, laughter, and happiness to our ranch, and we honestly can’t imagine life without him.

Looking at this picture of Pierson and Banana reminds us that sometimes the things we never planned for turn out to be the biggest blessings.

Someone may have dropped him off to get rid of a dog, but what they really did was give our family a new member. 🐾❤️

And around here, once you’re family, you’re family.
