🚧🔨🚧 Big things are happening! Things might get a little noisy in the following months, but we are adding some things! New surgery rooms, lobby facelift/expansion and some much needed ADDITIONAL EXAM ROOMS! 🚧🔨🚧

🐾🐩🐈🐾We continue to grow and our 5 doctors are looking forward to having the additional space to serve you and your pets more efficiently! We will make a more detailed announcement in the future, but for now just know that we only plan to make your experience better! 🐾🐩🐈🐾

It's MYTHBUSTER time!

The core vaccinations for every horse, regardless of their travel status, include Rabies, Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), Western Equine Encephalitis (WEE), West Nile Virus (WNV), and Tetanus.

Unfortunately, mosquitoes, bacteria, and rabid animals do not discriminate when it comes to infecting horses. Whether a horse is in a freshly bedded stall, wide open pasture, or on show grounds, mosquitoes can potentially infect your horse with life threatening diseases such as EEE, WEE, and/or WNV.

Tetanus is a common clostridial bacteria present in the dirt and can infect a horse who has never left its home just the same as a horse who shows every weekend if it doesn't have proper vaccine status.

Rabies is a 100% fatal disease once clinical signs are present and is easily transmissible to humans and other animals both at home and on the trails.

It's also important to note that different regions in the U.S. may have additional "core" recommendations so be sure to ask your veterinarian what is best for your horse!

⚠️⚠️We will be closed this Saturday, June 21st!⚠️⚠️

It is time to get the driveway and parking lot resurfaced. It is best to keep vehicles off of it for a day or two. In order to not close during the week, we have to close for a Saturday.

Please double check that you are not running low on any of your pets medications so we can be sure to get you taken care of before this weekend! If you have anything else you’re concerned about, please do not wait until this weekend! We will still be taking care of our boarding pets as planned, but we just will not be able to enter through the drive!

Thank you for understanding! We will return to regular hours of operation on Monday! ‼️🐾‼️🐾‼️

🎉We have been holding on to some news!🎉
Sometimes in life, good things find their way of coming back around! We would like to officially announce the return of Dr. Melodie Bloss!

We know this is big and exciting news for many of our long term clients that know and love Dr. Bloss just as much as we do! Dr. Bloss and her husband recently welcomed their third baby and have been settling in after moving back to the area. Her schedule will not be open until the end of July, but we wanted to go ahead and get the news out there!!

🦮🐈🐩Dr. Bloss will be operating as another mixed- animal associate with us! She will have more of a focus on serving our small-animal clients while allowing other associates a little more times to get in the field! 🐩🐈🦮

👀 👀 This will bring us to a current total of 5 mixed-animal veterinarians operating out of Animal Clinic of Diamond! 👀👀
We are so thankful to have continued to grow in such a way to support these additions!
There are many benefits to consider when looking at utilizing a multi-doctor practice such as ours!
-First: Availability. This one is somewhat obvious, but we want to make sure that we continue to be able to help as many pets as we can! We also have plans for facility expansion to help streamline and accommodate this growing caseload. As you know construction takes time. We are happy to reinvest into better serving our community. Just know it is in the works!
-Second: Collaboration. While you may not get to experience it from the exam room, our team works closely with each other. We are often collaborating on cases behind the scenes. This means on difficult cases you may have up to 5 doctors with different backgrounds and resources all weighing in on your case. We love the team approach and genuinely enjoy working with each other!
-Third: Preferences. While we all work together, we all have different practice styles and personalities. We embrace that! We completely understand if you have a doctor whose style or communication you prefer! We want you to feel comfortable! Simply make a respectful request and our staff are happy to schedule you according to your preferences! Keep the care and service you’ve grown to love from Animal Clinic of Diamond with whichever provider is a best fit for you!
-Fourth: Work/life balance for our vets. It’s our goal to provide great service. We have grown our staff in order to help keep our vets refreshed so they can provide the best care for your pets!

As most of our regulars know, we do book out a ways in advance! We are happy to start filling in spots for getting established or reestablished with Dr. Bloss! We are very fortunate to have put together such a quality team! This is an exciting time for us, and we hope you will share in welcoming Dr. Bloss back!

Road Work: there are signs up that the road is closed. If you are coming from the west, you can still make it to the clinic. Simply drive around the road closed sign. Road construction is just east of the clinic entrance.
