It's that time if year when I start getting asked to do rabies clinics. Here are the dates and places so far. They're in the future but you can plan to attend meanwhile.

To all my wonderful clients there are changes coming. After 40 years, and yes some of you have been with me that long, I feel the need to scale back my Dexter office. I am not quitting, but I'm not finding any one to take over the clinic. So, as a compromise, I will be working a 6 day week the second and fourth calendar week of each month. This includes the Greenville office where I will be there Tuesday for surgery and appointments and Wednesday afternoon for appointments. I will also still do Jackman once a month, it just might not always fall on the 3rd Saturday so watch for Diane's posters or contact Danae or our offices if you need to know. The rest of each month the offices will be open the usual hours and you can get in touch with me through Sariah in Dexter or Carol in Greenville. My cell phone number will not work where I am but you can leave a Messenger text or contact me on Facebook. Please understand, this is part of my trying to retire, so my responses may not be as fast as you are use to. Also, if some of you feel this arrangement is not to your liking and another Veterinary office is willing to have you as a client, we will gladly make your beloved pet's records available to them. So, this is not the end, just a change, albeit a big one. Dr. Rick

To our clients and visitors of Dexter and Greenville Veterinary Clinics. During these difficult times due to COVID-19 we are trying to follow the CDC's advisory of social distancing. In Dexter where are office is very small, we would ask you upon arrival, to call from your car to announce you are here for your appointment. We will call you back when the office is clear of the preceding client and quickly cleaned to assure your safety. If you wish to wear a mask and gloves, please feel free to do so. If you would like me and my staff to wear masks while you are with us, please don't hesitate to request that of us. We want you to feel as comfortable about being with us as you can. If you just need to pick up a medication, flea product or food for your pet we would suggest avoiding appointment times so there are fewer people. Pickup times for Dexter would be Monday and Friday morning and Wednesday afternoon. Feel free to call ahead so we can get it ready before you arrive further limiting the time you need to be with us. The Greenville office is larger and we will limit the number of clients to 4 at a time inside during appointment times which are mostly just Wednesday afternoons. Coming any other time we are open should find the office fairly free of other individuals. There as well if you would rather wear a mask or have our help wear one, please let us know by phone before you arrive or as you enter the building. We hope you understand we are trying our best to assure you are safe visiting us and we are looking forward to fulfilling the care of your pet so you have one less thing to be concerned about in these difficult times. Be safe everyone and please share this post so it may reach other clients of ours who are not "friends" with this page.
