One of our guests for The Last Wag, THIS SATURDAY from 11am-3pm is Janet Ridgeway, animal communicator. She will be doing 20 minute sessions for $50 (independently through her, not Happy Tails). February 2022! Sometimes that pause … to remember where things started to where they are today … wow. There were no professional crews (outside of electric), just family, friends, and support of my vision. There has never been employees, just friends that have stepped up in times of need. There were a lot of times that running business by myself ft lonely but it turns out, I was never alone. And obviously, Willa has been there since day one as the foreman. 💕

Willa is 💯 tuckered out after this week! Thank you to all that swarmed into the Tails in support (and/or panic) after announcing our closing. Even in the most frigid weather! We will be closed today in support of the national strike. I 💯 stand with small business that have made the decision to stay open today, I fully understand it. I’m making this post while in the parking lot of the shop as I haven’t known how to navigate this sad, disheartening, gross time. I don’t have employees that rely on me, I don’t sell “essentials”, any business I would have today wouldn’t not make a shift in anything in the economy. But this is a moment I independently have to stand up and say NO. This is a tiny space I have to stand up in solidarity with humanity and what I support.
