Dr. Cole and one of our registered veterinary technicians, Avery, spent the last two days attending the Fall IVMA Conference. They spent their days learning, connecting with other veterinary professionals, and staying up to date on the latest in veterinary medicine. 🩺✨

We’re always excited to bring new knowledge back to DeWitt Pet Hospital and our patients. The learning truly never stops! 🐶🐱

Another summer has come and gone, which means we say goodbye to our summer interns as they head back to college! Thank you for all your hard work, enthusiasm, and the care you gave to our patients this summer. Brenna is returning to Iowa State to finish her degree in Animal Science and Regina is returning to Kirkwood to begin her second year in the Veterinary Technology Program.

Wishing you both a fantastic school year and a bright future ahead! ☀️🐾

Clients,

Please disregard a previous email you may have received appearing to come from our email address with the subject line "DeWitt Pet Hospital Shared a Document with you to Review". Unfortunately there has recently been a string of attempts to hack emails, which appear to be targeting many local vet clinics. If you have opened the document in the previous email, we recommend changing your email password.

We are working on correcting the situation. Please contact us with any questions you may have.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Samantha Cole to DeWitt Pet Hospital!

Dr. Cole is originally from DeWitt and is excited to have returned home to serve the community she loves. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Iowa State University, followed by her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Cole knew from a young age that she wanted to become a veterinarian and feels incredibly grateful to have turned that lifelong dream into a career. She is passionate about building lasting relationships with clients and is committed to treating every patient as if they were her own.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Cole's greatest joy is spending time with her husband, Brian, their two year old daughter, Josephine, and their two Shih Tzus, Archie and Percy. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, spending time outdoors during the summer, watching movies, and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones at football and basketball games.

Please help us give Dr. Cole a warm welcome to the DeWitt Pet Hospital family!

It’s official… our new facility is opening!

Tomorrow, June 8th, we will begin welcoming clients and patients into the new DeWitt Pet Hospital. While a few finishing touches are still being completed, everything is fully functional and ready to serve you and your pets.

We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this first week as our team adjusts to working in a completely new environment. There are sure to be a few bumps along the way, but we are excited to embrace this new chapter and all the opportunities it brings.

Don’t have an upcoming appointment? No problem! Feel free to stop in, say hello, and take a look at our new reception area. We also plan to host an open house later this summer once we’ve had a chance to settle in. The date is still to be determined, but we’ll be sure to keep everyone updated.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you for your encouragement throughout this process, for your continued support despite the construction, and most importantly, for choosing DeWitt Pet Hospital.

We are proud to be an independently owned, family oriented small animal practice, and none of this would be possible without the incredible support of our community. We are truly grateful and look forward to continuing to care for your pets in our new home.
