She has been around traffic, hauled to events (team sorting and gymkhana), and has gone through water with us. Currently she will go out alone on the trail, or in large group rides where she is happy to be in any place (front, mid, back).
I have used her for lessons for advanced beginner and up riders. I wouldn't recommend a complete beginner as she would most likely regress in her training.
Standing at approx 15hh Zamora is flashy, thick, and strong b***d. She is shod on front.
When Zamora originally came in with a disgruntled attitude about life. After retraining and lots of work, she is now a much more relaxed and willing horse.
She will stand tied all day, grooms, and is good with her feet. She stands still for tacking.
She will stand still for mounting at a mounting block or other object and walks off nice. She knows her cues and gaits, direct reins, moves off leg, knows her leads, and side passes.
The best suited person for her would be a person that wants to enjoy some trail rides and go out to an occasional team penning.
