Lone Star State K9 is looking for a Kennel Tech 🐾 this position reopened after our latest hire unfortunately could no longer continue working with us

We are a small training operation located in Devine, TX.

This will be a part-time position, paid weekly.

Duties include but not limited to:

→ Opening in the morning
→ Feeding dogs
→ Help get dogs ready for pick up
→ Cleaning kennels
→ Sweeping, Moping, & wiping down counter tops
→ Cleaning water and food bowls
→ Keeping waters full and clean
→ Bathing dogs
→ Deep clean outdoor runs
→ Help bring in/out dogs
→ Assist with training dogs

We are looking for a self-starter that’s not afraid to get dirty.

Needs to be dependable, and experience with dogs is always a plus.

In my world, the powerful presence of Dobermans and the spirited charm of Chihuahuas reign supreme!

With my passion for these breeds and animals in general, I have gained experience in supervising doggy daycare play yards, professional grooming, fostering, and animal handling in a veterinary setting.

My philosophy revolves around balanced and consistent training, as well as prioritizing the overall well-being of every dog.

From ensuring proper exercise and mental stimulation to maintaining impeccable health and nutrition, I believe a balanced approach leads to the most fulfilling lives for our canine companions.

Callie isn’t just The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s National Dog of the Year…

She’s also a reminder of how powerful a dog’s love can be.

This week, Callie spent time with Adina - a fellow dog lover currently battling leukemia - and the joy she brought into that hospital room was indescribable.

Moments like this remind us that we don’t just train dogs to behave.

We train them to connect.

When Shiloh is not running LSSK9, she is barrel racing. A few weeks ago her horse trainer was in a horrific accident. LSSK9 has donated a 4 Week Obedience B&T in the online auction that is for Ashley and Hadley.

While both girls and all 7 horses made it out alive, they lost everything. You can bid on this until June 27th. You can find the link below!

Ashley Specht and Hadley Burrows were headed back home to Poteet, Texas after the Money N Beaches barrel race in Hamilton, Texas when their truck caught fire after colliding with another truck. The two girls were hauling seven horses at the time.
