Pet Parents....as Spring FINALLY approaches, please remember to schedule your dogs yearly Heartworm Test, in order to pick up flea and tick monthly preventative. Dogs who test positive for Heartworm will need to receive treatment, which is painful on both your dog and your wallet! Please call our office to schedule. It will make a life saving difference!

For those who choose to let their indoor/outdoor cats roam free without supervision, here is a prime example of what can happen.

This poor guy was brought to our hospital, after our Manager insisted they STOP using peroxide and Neosporin on his wound and bring him in asap to determine the extent of his wounds.

We had to first administer sedation, in order to shave the area and found puncture wounds from an animal, most likely another cat. His We were able to perform the procedure and provide pain injections. He also received medication for the next two weeks to prevent infection.

The owner was very grateful. We will be working with them closely to make certain he gets neutered and receives his vaccinations.

PLEASE stop putting them at risk of being poisoned, shot, hit by car and tangling with other cats! Their life will depend on it!
