Lights out for the catfish because that's how they like it. They are eating all of their food. The water filtration is working well. We just need to choose what to grow, greens, herbs or micro-greens. Ideas?

A CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a great way to bring fresh, local produce to your table, all while supporting local farms and gardens. It's simple to participate - you buy shares of produce up front for a fixed cost and are given a box of fresh seasonal produce each week.

As we look forward to the future of our own gardens, one of the ideas we are kicking around is a CSA. Would you be interested in participating? What kinds of produce would interest you? Reply in the comments!!

For those who have visited our site before, you'll remember that we were using aeroponics (sprinkler heads) to water our plants, which had consistently caused all sorts of problems when solid waste would clog them. We have been spending our time converting to floating raft beds and we are loving the results!!! Just one more step in the right direction of creating a maintaining a successful and functioning system!!
