What up doe! Had the chance to speak at University Prep High School for Career Day, and it was a real one. I pulled up to share my journey as a Dog Trainer and the owner of Motor City K9 Solutions, but more than that—I wanted to show these young kings and queens what it looks like to boss up in real life.

We talked about believing in yourself, building your brand, and the freedom that comes with entrepreneurship. I saw future leaders, hustlers, and innovators in that room—straight outta Detroit with big dreams and the mindset to match.

If they took anything from me, I hope it’s this: don’t wait on permission. Bet on yourself. Believe in your vision. And always, always boss up.

Winter Safety Tips for Your Dog ❄️🐾

Cold weather is here, and while our dogs still need their exercise and potty breaks, it’s important to keep them safe in the snow! Here are some key tips to protect your pup during winter outings:

🐕 Limit Time Outside – Even dogs with thick coats can get too cold. Shorter, more frequent outings help prevent frostbite and hypothermia.

🧊 Watch for Ice & Salt – Ice can be slippery and dangerous, and some de-icing salts can irritate paws. Consider using pet-safe salt at home and wiping paws after walks.

🥶 Know the Signs of Cold Stress – Shivering, lifting paws, or whining to go inside are signs your dog may be too cold.

🧥 Consider a Coat or Booties – Short-haired and small breeds benefit from extra protection against the cold.

💧 Stay Hydrated – Cold air can be drying, so make sure your pup has plenty of fresh water before and after outdoor time.

Keeping your dog safe means they’ll enjoy winter just as much as you do! Stay warm and have fun out there! ❄️🐾

Hey everyone! It’s Steve from Motor City K9 Solutions. I wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. Like many entrepreneurs, I faced some challenges recently that led me to take a brief hiatus. Just like Simone Biles, who prioritized her mental health and returned to win 3 gold medals, I realized that stepping back was essential for me to recharge and refocus.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be relaunching on September 1! My commitment to helping dogs and their owners remains stronger than ever. I couldn’t have made it through this time without the unwavering support of my current and past clients, as well as everyone who believes in what we do.
