IF YOU ARE FEEDING A GRAIN-BASED PET FOOD🌽 (OR ANY DRY FOOD) ADD IN APIACEOUS VEGETABLES RIGHT NOW!

Pet food companies from all around the globe are struggling to control mold levels in dry and canned pet food with dozens and dozens of lawsuits developing over pet deaths.

Pets that eat food containing unsafe levels of aflatoxins can develop aflatoxin poisoning. Pets are highly susceptible to aflatoxin poisoning because, unlike people, who eat a varied diet, pets generally eat the same food (& brand) continuously over extended periods of time. Eliminating alfaxtoxins from your dog’s body can be really difficult.

As of Aug 9th, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration is aware of more than 130 pet deaths and more than 220 pet illnesses this year that may be linked to pets eating brands of pet food tainted with this mold, and in the UK, 335 cats have died of a mysterious food-related toxin, with higher levels of mycotoxins found in some samples of the recalled cat food.

According to the FDA - Aflatoxins are invisible, odorless toxins produced by the mold Aspergillus flavus that can grow on pet food ingredients such as corn, peanuts🥜, and other grains🍚. Aflatoxins can cause illness (aflatoxicosis), liver damage, and death in pets. Pets exposed to non-lethal doses of aflatoxin may survive, but can have long-term health problems, such as organ damage.

So, how do you try and bulletproof🦸🏻‍♀️ your pet from consuming potential low levels of aflatoxins found in their pet food? Here’s where "science" steps in! Eliminating alfaxtoxins from your dog’s body can be really difficult but serving up Apiaceous veggies is a great way to enhance the elimination of these toxic compounds!

While consuming high concentrations of aflatoxins may be irreversible, the effects of your pet ingesting small doses over time that is associated with dry and canned pet foods can and should be counteracted.

Studies show adding apiaceous vegetables such as carrots, cilantro, celery, dill, fennel, parsnips, or parsley in the diet counteracts the carcinogenic effects of aflatoxins. These vegetables contain flavonoids and phytochemicals which have been found to inhibit the activity of cytochrome P- 450 1A2, an enzyme responsible for the transformation of carcinogenic intermediates to carcinogens and the activation of aflatoxin B1 following consumption.
