I just dropped off some pollinator pots at Carosello Pasta ✨

Dinner tonight is their fresh rigatoni and pomodoro sauce for a baked pasta with meatballs situation. 😍

Highly recommend the Ellen’s Fine Goods Millionaire Shortbread as a treat for the ride home. 😬🤤

I can’t help but want one of everything when I go in there. If you haven’t been yet, I think you will love it.

✨the work + the inspo✨

The Luna Moth is the latest addition to my pollinator mug collection. I paired it with one of its native host plants the sweet gum tree.

I snapped these sweet gum pics several years ago on walks at Woodmere Cemetary in Detroit. That intense fall color has stuck with me ever since. 🍁

Other Michigan host plants include: white birch, black walnut, hickory, and sumac.

Working on a shop update for later this week. 💚

Just a little kiln unload with some new designs 🎉

I had fun designing a new luna moth mug with one of its native host plants, the sweet gum tree. The little luna moth dishes were glaze color tests for a new travel mug and maybe vase — let me know which you like best. 🩷💚💜

I’m loving the new native lupine travel mugs, too!

Finishing up some glazing in the next couple days to get the kiln reloaded for another firing that should be ready on Sunday.

In the meantime, water testing the mugs, sanding all the bottoms smooth, and prepping for a Carosello Pasta and webshop update. ✨✨✨

I picked up some locally-grown peonies from today, and they smell amazing! 🌸

I’m doing special delivery days this week Monday 6/8 and Tuesday 6/9 to get them into your hands asap so you can enjoy them all week.

As the temps climb higher, we’re ushering out the peonies, Baptisia, Geum, and cress, and welcoming in the yarrow, feverfew, Clarkia, Dianthus and more. It’s such a beautiful transition. 💐

It’s time! Ranunculus and anemone arrangements are ready for local delivery. 🤗

They’ve just started coming on, so if the arrangement you’re looking for says “unavailable” it means I’m waiting until there’s more to harvest to add inventory to the webshop.

My handmade ruffle vases are back for the season, too! 💐

The flower seed swap is open! 🌼💛

Send me 20 packets of seeds, and I’ll send you back 20 different packets from gardeners and flower growers from across the country. It’s the flower boost we all need and a fun way to make some new flower friends.

We need 20 participants (US only) to run the swap. All the details and deadlines are in my webshop listing.

I will send out an email to the group with my address to submit your seeds as soon as the swap is full.

Looking forward to our seventh year of swapping flower seeds together!

The first bisque firing of the year has some pieces for glaze testing and some for my first webshop restock of the year — hopefully just before Love is Love Day.

(I don’t tumble stack my greenware because I don’t want to. 🤷🏻‍♀️🫶)
