🐾 Hi, friends! Let me reintroduce myself! 🐾

We’ve had some new faces join The Collar Club lately, so I figured it was time for a little introduction for anyone wondering, “Okay… but who exactly am I trusting with my fur baby?” 🤍

I’m Miranda, the owner and animal lover behind The Collar Club! I’m a longtime Destin local, mama of two little ones, and the proud owner of two sweet Yorkies. I started The Collar Club because I genuinely LOVE animals and wanted to give local pet parents a more personal, home-away-from-home option when they need an extra set of hands. 🐶🐾

And speaking of extra hands… I have two tiny helpers who occasionally tag along for visits and absolutely LOVE giving our Collar Club pups extra attention. 🥰 If your dog isn’t comfortable around little kids, that is completely okay! Just let me know and my helpers will stay home. However, because we have little ones in our home, dogs boarding with us must be kid-friendly and dog-friendly. Safety and comfort for everyone always comes first. 🤍

🐾 WHAT WE OFFER

🏡 Boarding in our home — $65/night
For pups 50 lbs & under who are comfortable with children and other dogs. They get to be part of the family while you’re away... lots of love, snuggles, playtime and attention included!

🚗 Drop-In Visits — $25/visit
Perfect for feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication, playtime and lots of love while you’re away.

🐕 3 Visits in One Day — $60/day
A great option for pups who are happiest staying in their own home but need morning, afternoon and evening care.

🐾 More than 2 dogs?
Add $10 per additional dog.

We currently offer daytime/evening drop-ins and boarding in our home... we do not offer overnight stays in clients’ homes.

The Collar Club is intentionally small and personal. Your pet isn’t just another name on a schedule. I want you to feel comfortable knowing who is caring for them and know they’re being loved on while you’re away. ❤️

When your pups stay with us, they aren't just getting fed and let outside. They're getting bedtime cuddles, backyard zoomies, belly rubs, kids who think every guest dog is their new best friend, and a home where they're treated like one of our own. The photos say it better than we ever could. 🥹

Update from wildlife rescue
It turns out he was just a very young baby heron who was still struggling to balance and unsure of the world. They cannot find any apparent injuries on him, but will keep an eye on him throughout the night before returning him to the park. I am a bit sad to think that his whole world has just been uprooted, but I wouldn't have been able to rest thinking he was truly injured. Praying he can be returned and go about his normal life and routine without any challenges.

The Collar Club's love and care for animals goes far beyond just household animals.

We saw this poor guy today and he was very hurt and unable to fly or walk. Contacted Emerald Coast Wildlife Rescue and one of their amazing transporter volunteers Judy came all the way from Navarre to pick him up and take him back to the rescue.

Huge thank you to Judy and the amazing Emerald Coast Wildlife Rescue! They were so helpful and you could tell they truly cared. Will call tomorrow for an update on his progress. ❤️
