Kenny Chesney has opened up about the loss of his longtime pet, Poncho. As reported by Wh***ey Riff, this is unfortunately not the first time he's lost a beloved pet.

Fans of the country star may have heard his song he penned for his pit bull, DaRubaGirl, which he named after her. She tragically passed away in 2022.

But now, he has lost another beloved pet—Poncho, the goldendoodle. He posted a touching tribute to his pooch on social media.

"Fifteen years ago a friend showed up at my doorstep and said, 'Here, Kenny, you need to learn to attach to something.' That's the day Poncho entered my life. I've heard a dog enters your life when you need it most. And not just any dog, a specific dog just for you."
