A couple weeks ago I was contacted about doing some work for the Science Center, had to stop in today to pick up the animals and I am beyond excited to help them with educating kids by preserving some animals for them.

We are getting through some Euros. Deer, fish, birds are on the stands/wall drying.

I just found out yesterday that rugs will be delayed a few months, I do apologize for that but the rugger I use is running a little behind.

I am getting 5-6 calls, emails, texts for updates. Every one signed the form that stated they understood white tail Euros could take up to 6 months as I do not boil any skulls. All other mounts are estimated at a year. I typically run ahead on those estimation so please be patient as I work through the 225+ mounts that were dropped off.

1st season gun hunters, please be aware that Milo Locker, LLC will have there drop off cooler Closed but will have special hours for drop off.

I will still offer free cape pickup from there, if you are wanting your antlers or head for euro it will be sent with you at drop off.

Any deer left on premises will be donated automatically to the HUSH program.

YOU HAVE TO CHECK IN YOUR DEER DURING BUSINESS HOURS ONLY

IMPORTANT: ‼️
FIRST: CALL THE IOWA DNR TO REPORT YOUR DEER AND GET CONFIRMATION NUMBER WRITTEN ON YOUR DNR HARVEST TAG

SECOND: CHECK IN AT THE FRONT DESK!! YOU WILL RECEIVE A SPECIAL TAG FOR YOUR DEER. IF YOU TRY DROPPING OF YOUR DEER FIRST YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO RETURN TO THE OFFICE AND YOUR DEER WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND YOU WILL LOSE YOUR SPOT IN LINE.

On a full carcass deer, the straight cuts are from YOUR animal and any ground meat is commingled. We take great care in processing all meat to create a quality product.

~Straight cut processing is $125. ($100 deposit) Straight cut processing covers getting your deer skinned, b***d out, and ground. This payment would also cover straight deer cuts of roasts, steaks, tenders, whole loins or butterfly chops and straight ground deer if you choose these selections. $100.00 payment down due at check in.

~Specialty items such as sticks or summer sausage cost extra. Cost for specialty items will be due at the time of pick up.

~We accept field dressed full carcass deer with the hide left on.

~Deer need to be tagged properly. The wider tag is the
transportation tag and would be attached to the head. The thin tag needs to be attached to the leg of the deer.

~‼️‼️Do NOT CUT leg tendons. Cutting the tendons will result in a $100.00 extra charge. (We cannot hang the deer if those are cut.)

~Customers will be notified via text message when their order is complete. Completed orders must be picked up within 7 days of notification. If not picked up within that time frame, they will be subject to storage fees of $5.00 per tray per day.
