This buck got hung up in some electric fence wire. Mounted it with it on the antlers. Came out pretty cool.

I can’t say how thankful I am for good neighbors. I had a big shop fan burn down last night almost taking everything in the shop. The neighbors called and woke us up quickly after it started and we put it out before it got too far into the shop. Thank you to everyone who was involved. I can’t put into words how appreciative we are that we still have majority of everything in the shop. It could have been a lot worse.

Also if you’re skull was being mounted it’s ok. They didn’t get affected by the fire.

3 elk and 1 mule deer came thru the shop a few weeks ago. Those chocolate antlers look good with the white skulls.

Finished this beaut recently—a whitened gator skull that’s clean as a whistle. Check out the close-up: you can spot the brass from the bullet that took it down. Hours of work, but that detail makes it worth it.
