C2R is non-profit 501c3 rescue dedicated to rescuing homeless animals. No paid staff - 100% volunteer Without these people Circle 2 rescue could not operate.
Circle 2 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is supported entirely from the generous donations of animal lovers. A network of committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians are the backbone of our organization. We are determined to keep administrative expenses low so every dollar donated goes directly to our programs. We rescue the old, the infirm and the young. The aban
doned, abused and injured. We believe that every life is valuable regardless of age or medical issues. We nurture and heal the physical and emotional wounds of animals, rehabilitate them, and find them loving forever homes. Upon arrival, they receive a “Nose to Toes Health Care Exam”, which includes: a routine checkup, spay or neuter, dentals and vaccinations. We strive to increase public awareness of companion animal overpopulation issues and provide solutions that end the killing of adoptable animals in an effort to advance animal welfare and create a more humane world for animals.

We love it when adopters are diligent about raising a good canine citizen! Ted’s family just sent us these photos of him in puppy classes- he’s already 50 lbs at 18 weeks, so he’s sure to mature to a large size, making it extra important that he’s well behaved. Ted’s mom says he’s like Buddy the Elf- he dwarfs all the other “students” in his obedience class! Hahaha!

🌺 Liberty’s name suits her perfectly—she’s a survivor who’s overcome so much and still has nothing but love to give. This brave girl was sadly shot, and while her injured leg couldn’t be saved, she hasn’t let being a tripod slow her down one bit. Liberty gets around just fine and navigates very adeptly on her 3 legs! No need to pity this spry girl. Liberty is a total sweetheart who loves all people and lives for cuddles, belly rubs, and snuggle time. Being part hound, Liberty has a good amount of energy and enjoys walks with her people and play time in the yard. On her walks, Liberty has met several dogs and likes to make friends and initiate play with the canines she encounters. Surprisingly, Liberty is quite exuberant on leash and her foster family is helping her learn to walk more calmly. She has spurts of energetic zoomies but then she zonks out for a nice nap. She’s house and crate trained, fully vetted and is learning to be a good house dog! 🏠 She currently lives with a male lab mix and is learning manners and etiquette from her foster dog brother.
In her foster home, Liberty has been very quiet - she howled once when her foster brother left of a solo walk but otherwise she isn't a barker. Liberty has met a cat at the vet office and was not interested but that doesn't mean she will be great with all cats. Proper introductions will set her up for success with this. Liberty’s ideal home would be one where she can be loved on, hang out with calm canine friends (or be the center of attention as a solo dog), and soak up all the belly rubs and snuggles her heart desires. She’s got so much love to give and is more than ready for her happily ever after.💖 Liberty weighs 53 pounds.💕 While Liberty is fine with a few stairs, she has not mastered flights of indoor steps, so a one story home might be the best for her.
Meet Liam! Our newest and youngest transporter and undoubtedly our most handsome! Liam gave up two days of his summer vacation to help his grandpa, Greg Best, go pick pup 6 dogs who had been living on the streets. They left yesterday morning as the sun was just peeking over the horizon and won't be home until about 10pm tonight.
There's something incredibly uplifting about witnessing young people step up with compassion, empathy, and a willingness to pitch in and help others! It reminds us that kindness is alive and well, and that the next generation is full of heart. Thank you Liam for being an example and reminder to all of us to do every day.
Today there are 6 few dogs on the streets thanks to Greg Best and Liam. Toffee, Sultan and Zephyr are 6 month old puppies who have lived on the streets since their birth. Sadly mom was not able to be trapped with her puppies so please say a prayer that she will be caught. This is not her first or second or probably even her third litter of puppies. Because she is not spayed the horrific cycle continues.
The chihuahua puppies and Abby, the beautiful Aussie girl were taken in by Cheryl and kept safe until we could get to them. She has saved untold numbers of dogs and kitties on the rez. I do not know where she hides her wings but I know she has them.

!!
Rico held out a couple months for his perfect forever home and it was worth it! Here he is with the family's daughter🐾💟
His dad provided this wonderful update!
"Rico had a great night! He got a brand new bed, orange GPS collar and matching leash and a bunch of new toys. He took a trip to Petco, met some new friends and had LOTS of treats. Today he took a few naps in between play times and is adjusting very well to his new home. Thank you again as Rico has a forever home! He is really opening up and showing his personality."
Special thanks to his devoted foster parents Janet and Greg Best ! You set him up for success!

🐾Moose is a 5.5-month-old Anatolian Shepherd with a sensitive and devoted spirit. Gentle, goofy, and incredibly endearing, Moose's foster family says he is one of their all time favortie fosters! 🐶🐾Recently Moose's foster dad was not feeling well and Moose quickly snuggled up with his foster dad, giving him some extra love and affection.🐾This big-hearted boy thrives on companionship—whether it’s earning praise from his people, playing with dog friends, or learning new tricks. His friendly, easygoing personality makes him a joy to be around and he’s eager to please and quick learner. Wherever he goes, Moose steals the show with his handsome good looks and easy going nature.
Moose adores people and dogs alike. He’s currently in a foster home with two large adult dogs (one male, one female) who are showing him the ropes. Thanks to his canine mentors and a foster family dedicated to training, Moose is building a solid foundation of good manners and social skills. Already he knows how to sit, come, walk nicely on leash and of course he is crate and house trained. Moose will do best in a home with another dog but could also be ok solo in the right circumstances. Come meet Moose - you’ll have a loyal, loving companion who’s truly one of a kind. 🐶💛. At ~70 pounds, he’s already well on his way to becoming a very big adult - we guess he might get to 140 pounds.
Sweet, resilient Moon has found her perfect forever home—and it couldn’t be more perfect! 🐾
After being hit by a car on the reservation, Moon had to undergo a leg amputation. But don’t worry—this brave 6-month-old pup hasn’t missed a beat. Her journey brought her into the loving arms of one of our amazing former adopters, who brings Moon to work with her at a care-giving facility.
There, Moon has truly found her calling. Many of the residents use wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices—and Moon meets them all with open-hearted joy and total ease. Her gentle presence and endless tail wags have made her a beloved member of the community.
Her new friends adore her—and the feeling is mutual. Whether she’s cuddling with someone in a wheelchair or greeting folks at the door, Moon shows every day that love knows no limits. She may be a tripod, but she’s 100% heart. ❤️
From rescue to role model, Moon is proof that healing happens best when it’s shared. ✨
We couldn’t be happier for you, Moon!

Quite possibly one of the most complicated rescues to date. Gizmo was abandoned in the deep south of Texas; an area we don't normally serve. But something about his video would not let my mind rest. I kept hoping someone would come for him. No one did. Miraculously a school teacher in the area said she would foster him so we tagged him. It took a couple of months to find a way to get him out of south TX. Thank God, Gabby with Flying Shepherd Ranch agreed to help. It is only through her kindess, connections and generousity that Gizmo made it out. She helped me find some wonderful local people to help tranport him to the airport and make sure he made his flight. And then Tina Garbe and Danny Garbe stepped up to foster him! To everyone who helped save Gizmo, he and i will always remember your kindness.

Help please!
These are some of the dogs we are working on. There are more requests coming in every day but these are the ones we have committed to and even this feels daunting.
We need fosters for several 5 month old puppies who have lived their lives on the streets. As well as some older adults. They are shy and just need fosters who will simply give them a safe space to decompress and learn what it means to be a family member. You do not need special super powers to do this! This truly isn't rocket science. They are all very sweet and just need time and space really. Just a safe space to observe how your other dog behaves and what it means to be on a regular feeding and bathroom schedule. We will provide crates, food and vetting. We have a couple of fabulous fosters who would be willing to mentor you if you feel uncertain or have questions. You do not have to take them right off the streets. We will get them to an experienced foster first and then place them based on your needs.
Please help us rescue some of these deserving animals born into circumstances that were not of their choosing.
YOU MUST COMPLETE A FOSTER APPLICATION. Unfortunately I am rarely sitting at my computer and can't respond to every FB message when it comes in. Here is a link: https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-foster-application/

Are you looking for a well trained puppy who has already mastered many of the basics? Whew! Born in foster care, his parents have nurtured him and given him a great foundation to begin his new life! Rico is already showing that classic Lab personality—friendly, playful, and eager to be everyone’s best friend (human or dog). He loves exploring the world around him, learning new things, and being part of the fun. 💛This fun, outgoing pup is seeking a like-minded family to call his very own. Talah is recovering nicely from surgery. The vet said she was a very good girl! We agree.
06/06/2025
Tala goes in for her hip surgery today. She was hit by a car several months ago and did not receive any treatment. Her x-rays revealed a dislocated hip and because it was left untreated for so long it can not be popped back in. The best course of treatment is FHO surgery (femoral head ostectomy). She is only 12 to 18 months old and has a long and happy life ahead of her after her surgery. She came to us with 5 puppies whom she care for and nurtured despite being in significant pain. She is the happiest girl! We can't wait for her to know a pain-free life! If you can help with her surgery expenses of about $2,000 we would appreciate it. One of her puppies also had to have her leg amputated after being hit by a car. Lots of extra expenses.

Circle 2 Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is supported entirely from the generous donations of animal lovers and through our adoption fees. We have a network of committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians who are the backbone of our organization. Without these people Circle 2 rescue could not operate. 100% of our funds go toward the animals - we do not have any paid positions. We are determined to keep administrative expenses low so every dollar donated goes directly to our animals. We operate on a shoestring budget and rely on our incredible volunteers to provide loving foster homes, shuttle dogs to vet appointments and work applications so we can find quality homes that are a great match for our pups!
We rescue the old, the infirm and the young. The abandoned, abused and injured. We believe that every life is valuable regardless of age or medical issues. Our job is to nurture, heal, and love the animals and then place them with carefully screened adopters.
Circle 2 Rescue saves 400 - 450 animals a year. We take special needs dogs and those needing medical attention, not just the cute, cuddly puppies that everyone loves to love. Some of our companions stay with us for several months while they receive the care they need. The $250 adoption fee for adults barely covers the cost of rescuing a healthy dog. If they need extra veterinary care the adoption fee is not enough to cover the costs.
Your donations are critical . Every dollar makes a difference. Here is what your donations can do:
$15 pays for a microchip
$25 pays for a rabies, distemper, or bordetella vaccination
$30 feeds an animal for a month
$50 pays for a veterinary exam
$75 pays for one neuter surgery
$100 pays for one spay surgery
$150 refuels our van to transport the dogs from small, rural communities in Montana and high kill shelters in Texas.
$250 covers the cost of getting a dog ready for adoption. ie. spay or neuter, vaccinations, deworming, microchip and food
$500 will spay 5 female dogs
$1,000 sponsors 4 dog adoptions (covers all spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip, food, etc.)
$5,000 covers veterinary expenses for all animals in foster care for one month
