Before graduating from vet school, Dr. Madison Petree had heard the stories of many new grads who worry about being left alone too soon, with minimal support, and expected to figure it out on their own as they go.

Her RISE experience was different.

Each May, the ACVO®/Epicur Service Animal Volunteer Eye Screening Program (ACVO SAVES) provides complimentary eye exams for qualified service and working animals. Last month, several PetVet Care Centers ophthalmologists took part, including the team at Veterinary Referral Associates, featured in this reel.
