Ekar Farm Ekar Farm connects people to community, and community to the earth. We nourish body, heart, mind and spirit at two sites in Lakewood and Aurora.

We grow sustainably produced fruits and vegetables so that all who are hungry can come and eat. Ekar Farm and Community Gardens is a communal urban farm, inspired by Jewish values. We work to build community, provide experiential and environmental education, and grow sustainably produced fruits and vegetables, expanding access to those in need. From the platform of our urban farm, we apply the pra

At Ekar Farm, we are learning from and inspired by these traditional practices - like companion planting, water stewardship, and seed saving—that nurture biodiversity and resilience.
