If you’ve been following along, you know it hasn’t exactly been an easy path to get here. We’ve faced our fair share of setbacks over the last few weeks, but walking down these rows today, we can officially say: the farm is finally coming together!
A massive, heartfelt thank you to every single person who has stepped up, rolled up their sleeves, and helped us get to where we are. We absolutely could not do this without our incredible community.
We can’t wait to keep planting, tending these crops, and growing fresh, beautiful food to get directly into the hands of people who need it most. 🥬🍅
🚨 P.S. A VERY SPECIFIC WISH LIST ITEM: If you happen to know anyone looking to donate a tractor (or point us in the direction of one), please let us know! We could very, much use machinery muscle to keep this momentum going. 🚜

🌱 HELP US CATCH UP! 🌱
The season is moving fast, and to be completely honest, we are a bit behind on our planting! 🧑‍🌾 and we can’t do it alone.
If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get your hands dirty, enjoy the sunshine, and give back, this is your sign!

A major thank you to Eagle Scout Carter Closson! 🙌 Carter chose Ekar Farm for his project and built brand new raised beds for the residents at Shalom Park.
These beds will give residents a dedicated space to grow fresh vegetables, fruit, and herbs all season long. We love seeing young leaders make a real impact in the community!
