🆘Urgent Foster Home Needed ASAP🆘

Sweet Jax, at just 15 lbs, is in need of a foster home in which someone works from home or is gone for only a few hours at a time to work on his crate training. His current foster mom works long hours.
He is good with other dogs (probably cats too!) Jax is shy when initially meeting people but warms up quickly with trust. He is a sweetheart!

ALL SUPPLIES PROVIDED.

🆘URGENT Medical Foster Needed🆘

Ranger has endured so much in his short life and NEEDS OUR HELP NOW more than ever. When he was first found in early March in South Texas, Ranger was showing signs of partial paralysis, dragging his back legs while trying to walk. A laminectomy was performed, allowing the discs in his spine to decompress, and he regained the ability to walk on all fours again. Although he had a “wonky” gait, he enjoyed playing with other dogs and going on daily walks. Two weeks ago he started to limp and after an x-ray and surgery consultation at WheatRidge Animal Hospital, it was determined that he has a sub-luxating hip and will require a complete hip replacement. The surgery consultation at Spry Orthopedics is scheduled for Monday, October 26. We will have a better idea when the actual surgery will be after that appointment and can update any potential medical fosters then.

WHAT DOES BEING A MEDICAL FOSTER MEAN? Ranger will need 8 to 10 weeks of crate rest and restricted physical activity. The great news is that he is a medium-energy level dog and has already endured a restricted recovery from his spinal surgery in March. He loves his crate and will readily hang out in it on his own accord. ďżź

The MOST IDEAL medical foster home for Ranger would be one in which he does not have access to play with other dogs as he ADORES them and will want to romp around. HE IS GOOD WITH CATS which opens up the possibilities! And he is definitely sweet with his humans although shy at first. ďżź

Please reach out if you are able to help with Ranger’s recovery. ALL SUPPLIES will be PROVIDED. Ranger needs us now more than ever in this final stage of his medical treatment/physical recovery from a life of neglect in Texas.

🌸Emma🌸You’ve probably seen posts about Emma over many years. This absolutely SWEET AS CAN BE girl has been through a lot, first living in a shelter for two years where staff lovingly refused to put her on the euthanasia list. After coming to Colorado and being assessed we saw the damage that being abandoned in a rural shelter had done to our poor girl, despite great efforts made by staff. Emma is amazing with people! She’s not shy and will sit right in your lap for pets and kisses, if you’ll allow. However, Emma does not do great with other animals. Her best chance at the best life she deserves is to live at home as the only pet. We know this is a tall order to fill, especially in pet obsessed Colorado! Our dog selective or dog unfriendly dogs are the ones who sit forever. They’re the ones we worry about most, the ones who need us most. We have been incredibly lucky to be able to board her with a great trainer for the last three years. Through all the ups and downs he has been there for her and shown her the consistency and love she truly deserves and craves. Her time boarding, however, has come to an end due to changing circumstances that are no one’s fault. Emma can no longer stay boarding with her favorite person in the world after October. We know she will miss him but we also know she loves everyone she meets and will surely fall in love again. WE NEED A MIRACLE! We need a home with no other animals. We need someone who doesn’t mind that their dog doesn’t want dog friends. We need someone who can be there for Emma and love her through her golden years just as much as she will love them. She is an easy, non-reactive walker, an older gal who still has spurts of energy where she might zoom or pick up a toy and toss it, but on the lazier side. She’s happy with small walks and snuggles on the couch. When it comes down to it, Emma just loves LOVE. She lives for it. Can you be this incredibly sweet senior girl’s hero? Please consider taking this sweetie home today for foster or adoption. Apply in our links or message us with any questions!

UPDATE: Foster found! Thank you Meredith!

💜Our sweet girl Freya is back in boarding. She needs a foster or adopter asap to bust her out! You might’ve heard her story already. Freya’s life started as a neglected “outside” dog in the desert, becoming pregnant and then discarded with her babies and sister. So many people have stepped up to help this sweet girl along the way! From the person who rescued her directly from the desert to the fosters she’s had to the transporters, boarding and day care facilities- Freya has won over many hearts. She started her life only knowing cruelty from humans but never closed her heart to us. Once she felt safe we could clearly see she was the happiest, friendliest girl that the world she came from never deserved! Freya is dog friendly, crate trained, great in the car, easy on leash and on the eyes!😍 We know even after she’s been with us for three months that her perfect home is out there, they just haven’t found her yet. Freya is down for an adventure, but also happy to walk around your neighborhood and cuddle on the couch. She is a pretty quiet girl, not destructive and very food motivated. She’s learned a few skills from our resident trainer/behaviorist and absolutely loves to learn!!! Freya is currently looking for a foster or adopter to step up for here ASAP! Her last foster had originally signed up for a temporary gig and amazingly agreed to keep Freya longer than planned. Unfortunately, due to work schedules and every day life Freya is needing to move on to her next safe place to wait for her family. Can you help a gorgeous girl out? Please apply to foster or adopt on our website or message us with any questions! Reposting helps spread the word too! 😉💜
