Made the rounds through Mayfair with these two this week.

Some dogs treat a walk like exercise. Some dogs treat a walk like an opportunity to be seen.

I’ll let you figure out who’s who here.

Good pace, plenty of sniff breaks, and one surprisingly fashionable flamingo shirt.

Everyone made it home happy.

Hope everyone had a good Memorial Day weekend. 🐾

Starting the week with this handsome guy, who sat in front of the roses looking like he calls everybody ‘kid’ and still shadowboxes while waiting for coffee.

Calm walk. Good pace. Very grounded energy overall.

Honestly, not a bad way to ease back into reality.

Apparently yesterday was National Rescue Dog Day.
I learned this today. Excellent timing as always.

But these three deserved a post anyway.

Hana, Toshi, and Kenji are all rescues, which means at some point someone underestimated just how much cuteness & personality could fit into three compact fox-shaped bodies.

Now they mostly spend their time supervising the neighborhood, judging my decisions, and aggressively protecting the house from delivery drivers.

Couldn’t imagine life without them.

Rainy walk in Park Hill yesterday.

Most dogs spend weather like this negotiating shorter routes and filing formal complaints. He arrived in a sweater and acted like he had important waterfront business to attend to.

Very professional attitude overall.

Private walks. One dog, one walker. Everyone made it home dry-ish.

Caught a little “main character energy” in Montclair today.

Calm walk, perfect weather, and a brief pause so he could pose in the flowers like he was being featured in the summer issue of Aspen Home & Garden.

Honestly, hard to argue with the confidence.

Private walks. Quiet pace. Everyone made it home happy.

Good pace, plenty of sniff breaks, and at one point he seemed very confident we were on to something.

Drizzly walk today — wet sidewalks, extra sniff breaks, and a sudden deep appreciation for stepping in every puddle.
