People often ask how we keep them cool on the hot days… well, First hot day of the season and as soon as the mares saw me setting up the sprinkler they were ready and waiting! Best part is that the foals catch on quick and everyone stays cool and happy. I use a lawn sprinkler timer to set it up to turn on for 20-30 min every few hours in the summer and the mares learn the schedule and bring their foals in to stand in it, then go back out to the pasture once it shuts off. When breeding quality and longevity is always something to consider not only in age but breedabilty and ability to maintain condition especially when raising a foal… let’s just say mare #5 in the foaling stall, Belleau W.S. Lisa definitely checks all the boxes in longevity department; at 18 yrs old she looks like she’s 8 and has alway produced top quality offspring. The quality of her offspring and given her longevity we have retained her daughters for our breeding program.

Foal #3 is a Filly! Well Lucy outdid herself with this monster of a filly. She may have chose the worst spot to have her… because there wasn’t another 15ft the other direction that wasn’t up against the wall 🤦🏼‍♀️ but the filly is perfect colored, big and strong. Next in to foal is Belleau W.S. Lucy. She has been part of our program for going on 10 years and has consistently produced quality and motion when crossed with h.m.h.rockinbentley. She’s not the biggest mare but has great depth, body, bone and hair and produces big quality foals. Unlimited Style, Unlimited Captain America, Unlimited HotRod, Unlimited Charm and Unlimited RockStar are all full siblings by her and Bentley; so as always we look forward to seeing this cross!
