✨ Meet Ray — The Heart Behind Ray of Hope Puppies ✨
Sometimes the most meaningful ideas come from the people who inspire us the most. 🥰
For over 30 years, my work has centered around selecting and training adult dogs. Adult dogs provide the clearest understanding of temperament, stability, and compatibility, and that philosophy has always guided my program.
But sometimes purpose and opportunity align in a beautiful way.
The Ray of Hope Puppy Program was inspired by Ray, the son of my dear friend Julie, whom I have known for more than 25 years.
Julie has devoted her life to animal care, working for decades as a veterinary technician, groomer, and lifelong animal professional. Ray has grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds — horses, dogs, chickens, and many others — learning from a young age how to care for them with patience, gentleness, and love. 🐴🐶🐔
Ray lives with Tourette’s Syndrome and Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) — neurological conditions that affect him daily and require tremendous strength and support. Julie and her mother have dedicated their lives to caring for Ray and helping him navigate these challenges with courage and determination. ❤️
With their full support, the Ray of Hope Puppy Program was created as a meaningful partnership — allowing us to provide thoughtfully raised and well-started puppies while also supporting a family that has given everything for a child they chose to love.
Ray’s gentle heart and natural connection with animals remind us every day why this program exists. 🥰
These puppies are still puppies, and their adult temperaments are still developing.
Perfection is not promised — but a better beginning is.
Each Ray of Hope puppy receives a strong foundation that includes:
✔️ Crate training
✔️ House training routines
✔️ Early manners and obedience
✔️ Thoughtful socialization and exposure
This program reflects what has always guided my work:
Doing right by dogs.
Supporting families honestly.
Creating placements built to last.
🐾 Ray of Hope puppies are raised and trained with intention and purpose.
If you have taken the time out of your day to read this entire post, I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your time! I would love for you to reach out to Ray in the comments and let him know that you are supporting him whether it just be by sharing his post or giving a like to one of his pictures, every little interaction helps.
