What have we been up to? Gear making! Lots of it
, especially these last few days. (Weeks? Time escapes me). However, These past few months have been a whirlwind of surgeries, taking care of partners and family members. Doctors appointments (legit like 1-2 a day, every week). Dealing with the ups and downs of health issues and mental illnesses, and the aftershocks of our disabilities itās just been a mess. Our headspace wasnāt good. Iāll be the first to admit it. Fighting the darkness while also trying to work on orders isnāt easy. You deal with self doubtā¦. A LOT of self doubt. Anxiety (loads of that too). Paranoia that your product isnāt good enough. A ton of things. And thatās just about the shop/items. Thatās not to mention what the illness is doing to your brain in other aspects of your life. (Fun things. Fun things). We fell behind for a long time. Some of it was from how big some customer orders were. Some of it was because of how bad our mental health had gotten. And for that, weāre truly sorry. We do try to make up for super long wait times. I know there are a few of you who have been weathering our queue for quite the while. We super appreciate you and your patience in your gear getting journey, and weāll be including some special items in your package as an apology and a thank you for being so awesome. (Sorry this is like a huge run on sentence as well. Instagram wonāt let me space out my paragraphs! ). Anyways, thatās a little shop update. Weāre still fighting the darkness a little. But way better than we were. :) We got a new desk (a bigger one!). A roomier work space on the opposite side of the room which seems to be helping with the flow of orders. And weāre trying our best to stick to a routine of work hours throughout the day to get these orders out. (Especially those ālucky fewā who have patiently been waiting quite a bit. Again.
