Hi everyone,

So we have had a bit of an accident. Caitie was going down some stairs with a bookshelf and she fell and her ankle folded under her and the bookshelf fell on top of her. She is now in a boot for 2 weeks and then doc said we will go from there. Unfortunately it is her sewing foot, so operating her sewing machine is difficult right now. Unfortunately because of this, some orders are going to be delayed. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this situation.

Hey y’all, just wanted to give you an update on Jenna. First, thank you so much for all the well wishes and prayers that have come in. We appreciate that more than you know. The x rays and cat scans came back negative for pneumonia and blood clots (thankfully), but she is still fighting some sort of sickness that won’t let go of her. We saw the primary today, and she is now thinking it may be Croup? (Jenna was like “The baby sickness???” lol). Apparently adults can get that too! Both the hospital and P*P want her to see her pulmonologist though, to undergo further testing. We’re hoping with their help, she may be able to start kicking this thing. (Fingers crossed at least). We’re at least starting to get pointed in the right direction. Her Service Dog, Callie Rose, is staying close and hardly leaving her side. We’re making sure she’s getting paid in treats for all her hard work.

(Hospital Band turned to protect personal info). Soooo we’re starting off the new year wonderfully! (Please note my sarcasm). Jenna (my fiancee) has been having a terrible bout of sickness since around Thanksgiving. This is our second time in the ER, and we’re currently waiting on another round of tests. The doctors are thinking it may be bronchitis turned into pneumonia… or even possibly blood clots in the lungs. It’s just a waiting game at the moment. We’re hoping it’s just pneumonia… although bad.. the alternative sounds worse! We’ve seen a handful of messages from y’all come in tonight, and we just wanted to give you a heads up. We see you! We’re just gonna be slow at replying for the next few days. As always, we appreciate your patience. We hope you had a happy, and wonderful holiday, and we’ll be in touch when things calm down.

“Shades of abstract pink”. This little “masterpiece” was shipped a bit ago to its new home! For being two random fabrics found online, they definitely fit together well! (It’s always hard to choose fabric when you can’t see it in person). But we hope you love your new vest! We had so much fun making it!

What have we been up to? Gear making! Lots of it
, especially these last few days. (Weeks? Time escapes me). However, These past few months have been a whirlwind of surgeries, taking care of partners and family members. Doctors appointments (legit like 1-2 a day, every week). Dealing with the ups and downs of health issues and mental illnesses, and the aftershocks of our disabilities it’s just been a mess. Our headspace wasn’t good. I’ll be the first to admit it. Fighting the darkness while also trying to work on orders isn’t easy. You deal with self doubt…. A LOT of self doubt. Anxiety (loads of that too). Paranoia that your product isn’t good enough. A ton of things. And that’s just about the shop/items. That’s not to mention what the illness is doing to your brain in other aspects of your life. (Fun things. Fun things). We fell behind for a long time. Some of it was from how big some customer orders were. Some of it was because of how bad our mental health had gotten. And for that, we’re truly sorry. We do try to make up for super long wait times. I know there are a few of you who have been weathering our queue for quite the while. We super appreciate you and your patience in your gear getting journey, and we’ll be including some special items in your package as an apology and a thank you for being so awesome. (Sorry this is like a huge run on sentence as well. Instagram won’t let me space out my paragraphs! ). Anyways, that’s a little shop update. We’re still fighting the darkness a little. But way better than we were. :) We got a new desk (a bigger one!). A roomier work space on the opposite side of the room which seems to be helping with the flow of orders. And we’re trying our best to stick to a routine of work hours throughout the day to get these orders out. (Especially those “lucky few” who have patiently been waiting quite a bit. Again. Thank you so much for your patience. We really appreciate you. Oh! If any of y’all have moved since placing your order, please let us know so we can get an updated address for shipping! We don’t want your items going on a ride around the US! ->

Here’s another order we made a bit ago. The blue center panel is our first ever mesh vest! It’s made with cotton sides, a mesh jersey middle and bottom, and has Velcro on all panels :) The collar is something new as well, we experimented with using grosgrain ribbon overlaid on webbing (an idea we got from a collar making tutorial on Facebook!) We think it turned out quite nice :D (If we do say so ourselves). We’re still working away on orders with a few shipping in the next week. More to ship in the next coming weeks! Pride paw was digitized by Arise005 on Etsy. It stitches out nicely! Check them out!

Here’s a part of a set that flew out of here a little bit ago! (It had to be broken up over a few trips). Also, I apologize, I’ve been bad at posting! I’ve been working on orders, I just forget to put them up! Expect a picture drop soon! lol
