Well Lake Charles, you were good to us!

We came to the Calcasieu Kennel Club show planning to stay for just one day to give the pups some ring experience and help them get comfortable showing. We never expected to leave with so much more.

We almost skipped this show because we had a party to attend, but I’m so thankful we decided to take a chance and stay. Watching these dogs do what they love and seeing all the hard work pay off makes every mile, every early morning, and every minute worth it.

A huge thank you to the judges, show committee, fellow exhibitors, and everyone who helped make this weekend such a great experience. We’re heading home proud, grateful, and excited for what’s ahead!

Here is another pup update since everyone seems to love seeing these babies

The litter is officially 5 weeks old now and their little personalities are really starting to shine. We definitely already have our favorites over here

Where do we even start? This weekend was an absolute whirlwind of joy, heat exhaustion, and unforgettable memories. We are so thankful for an amazing mentor who called us up and said, “Make the drive to Tennessee, it’ll be worth it.” Well… she definitely didn’t lie.

The same place where Tilly’s show career began back in November at the SAPBTA show became the place where she earned her GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP title! 🎉
Not only did she accomplish that, but she also pulled off an incredible:
🏆 4 Best of Breed wins
🏆 4 Group 2 placements

Then her brother, Lickety Splits JR, earned his Championship title after taking Best of Winners under Judge Helena Engelauf. To make the weekend even sweeter, on Sunday in his very first Champion class he earned his first leg toward his Grand Championship under Judge Helayne Parker.

Also on Sunday, HOP DASH CH Mud-E Acres GT2.0 Captain Morgan took Champion class under Judge Diane Price.

Now let’s talk about our babies because they absolutely amazed me this weekend. Watching these young dogs work, listen, and show their hearts made me so proud.

✨ 6-month-old Mud-E Acres Bourbon Street Brawl earned 3 Best of Winners wins, picking up the legs she needed toward her Championship title — now she just needs a few more points!

✨ Our bred-by boy, made 6 months on the 10th, K&B Menagerie’s Heart Wrecker, took Best Male at 3 shows, earning the 3 legs he needed for his Championship title as well — now he just needs those last couple extra points.

To say we are proud would be an understatement. This breed, these dogs, and the people who support us make every mile, every late night, and every exhausting weekend worth it. ❤️

Everyone’s eyes are finally open and they’re starting to shuffle around

This is honestly my favorite stage. Their little personalities start showing, they become more curious about the world, and every day brings something new.

This week we’ll be adding a litter box since they’ve naturally started moving off the blanket to potty already smart little babies figuring things out early 💕
