It's that time again, peeps. Here's our tip for hot weather:
The sun makes your driveway & sidewalks pizza ovens. The skin on paw pads is just like the palm of your hand. Before walking your pup, see if you can hold the palm of your hand on the cement for 60 seconds. If not, then it's time to cool off those paws!
Get a small plastic spray bottle (Dollar Store) & fill it with cool water. As you & your pup are about to walk out, spray all four paws. If you are both out for more than a few minutes, repeat the spray. No paw pad burns. Easy-peasy!
