In memory of.
So yesterday was something called Christmas. It's a special day that people around the world celebrate and open gifts from a guy they call Nick? Anyway, humom had gotten what she calls a living Christmas tree, she wasn't going to get one this year but changed her mind at the last minute. She said after the holidays she was going to donate it to someone so they could plant it and watch it grow. But I yelped at her and said that I wanted it! She told me no, we didn't have the space for it because we live in an apartment. I said, but mom, we have a porch, and I promise to p*e on it occasionally to keep it alive. Oops, she said I meant to say that I will "water" it. Then I explained how I heard a story from a friend that when she lost a dog companion she would let her kids pick a tree and dedicate it to them and plant it in their yard. That way they will always be remembered and they can visit them whenever they wanted. I said I wanted to do something for my sister Blizzard and that would be a nice memory. So humom thought about it and said ok, but it was up to me to take care of it. I was so happy I did yappy jacks.
So to Krystal Zima Siberian Blizzard, my littermate, St Christopher called you home way to early but he must have had an important job for you. Please watch over all of us, including our half-siblings and humans too. This living Christmas tree is dedicated to you. We will see you again at Rainbow Bridge. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
