This pup came to us today for an appointment. After finding out his vision was impaired our clients realized they wouldn’t be able to provide the medical care and attention he needs and deserves.

Our area is experiencing a much higher volume of traffic than normal. If you have a scheduled appointment today/tonight, or will be picking your pet up from surgery, please allow yourself plenty of time to accommodate for the increased/backed-up traffic.

We will do our best to accommodate late appointments but can not make any guarantees. Late fees will continue to be assessed for late surgical pick ups.

Help us officially welcome and recognize our amazing Lyz Cox!

Lyz joined our team last October as a Client Service Representative and has had a huge impact on our organization, team, and clients! 💙

Lyz started her professional/educational journey in Clinical Psychology and Criminal Justice. Through her life experiences she realized that veterinary medicine was her calling so she made the switch and is continuing her journey in the Veterinary Technology program to become a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT). 👩‍⚕️

She chose to join TeamTAHO due to our family-like environment and relationships, the positivity of the team, and the community-focused mission. She plans to continue her education and become more involved in the medical side of the practice. 🏥

Outside of vet med, Lyz enjoys going on walks and hiking with her pup! She also enjoys golf, traveling, and attending music festivals! ⛳️ 🧳 🎶

Lyz shares her love with her boyfriend, Justin, their GSD/husky mix (Blaze), and their two amazing cats (Ripley and Bowser). 🐕 🐈‍⬛ 🐈

This is exactly why we do what we do and the entire reason TAHO exists.
Frosty was found as a stray and was struggling out in this weather. A very Good Samaritan reached out in a local Facebook group to seek help for this boy.
Thank you to everyone who worked together to get this boy inside, get him transported to TAHO, and who have stepped up to take care of him through his recovery. It takes a village!
TeamTAHO is happy to be a part of such a caring community and thankful that we were able to help save this boy and provide him with the medical care he desperately needed/needs. 💙

Happy New Year! 🎊🎈

2023 has been an exciting year for us here at TAHO. Although we have had some challenges we are very excited, and proud, to announcede/share our year end reports.

We measure our success by the impact we are able to have in the lives of animals and their families right here in our local communities.

This year in summary, TAHO has:
- Provided medical/surgical care to 10,541 patients.
- Performed 7,791 spay and neuter procedures.
- Performed 632 advanced dental procedures.
- Helped save local animal rescue organizations $120,782 (in addition to special set partnership pricing/discounts) which allows them to better utilize their funds to help/save more animals in need.
- Provided $120,803 in additional charitable contributions to help cover medical/surgical care for animals in need.
- Voted as a leading veterinary hospital/team in Central Ohio for the fifth year in a row.
- Continue to maintain our title/reputation as a national leader for our spay and neuter program.

Help us formally welcome our newest member, Stefan, to our award winning team of professionals! 💙

Stefan started with our organization last week as a veterinary technician’s assistant and has quickly established himself as a crucial part of our team.

Stefan began his education at The University of Alaska Fairbanks and then studied abroad at the University of Akureyri in Iceland before completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology at The Ohio State University.

Stefan chose to join TeamTAHO in his search to gain further knowledge and skill in the veterinary field. In addition to his passion for animal care, Stefan is greatly looking forward to furthering TAHO’s mission to give back to his communities.

Outside of his career Stefan likes weightlifting and running on nature trails. He enjoys cooking, gardening, and reading.

Help us welcome Dr Sarah Vangundy to TeamTAHO!

Dr Vangundy graduated from Wilmington College with a Bachelors of Science before attending The Ohio State University to receive her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. After graduating she pursued an internship before beginning her career in general practice and emergency medicine.

She chose TAHO as her home so that she could work with a facility that enables her to help as many patients as possible. Her primary interest and objective here at TAHO is to continue to provide the community with a surgical alternative to those that may not be able to visit a specialty/emergency facility. She’s excited to grow alongside a team of committed individuals to make veterinary care more accessible in general

Outside of work, Dr Vangundy enjoys playing volleyball, enjoys arts and crafts (especially holiday decorations), and looks for any opportunity to get to a beach.

She shares her love with her two fur babies (Mika and Daphne) - two of the best kitties! 🐈

Help us welcome Leeann Johnson to TeamTAHO’s outpatient department.
Leeann is a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) and studied at Columbus State.

Leeann chose TAHO for our strong team/family bonds that encourage team work, support, and a positive working environment. She hopes to build solid life-long bonds with her team members as well as with her clients and patients. She is very excited, and dedicated, to providing the best care possible to her patients.

In her free time she loves spending time with family and friends, working in the church, and doing anything crafty!

She has her own little zoo family, consisting of three Cats 🐈(Jolene, Charlotte, and Pearl), a Guinea pig (Winston), Snails 🐌, Turtles (Sq**rt and Flipper), and Fish 🐠.
