Hi there! We are Cassie and Carrie, two sisters and the faces behind Benedict Doxies.
We’ve been breeding dachshunds for the past 11 years, hoping to share the love of this incredible breed. We have enjoyed raising hundreds of babies over the years, joyously sharing them with the most wonderful families!! We have BD puppies all over the United States, a few now in Canada and even one in Mexico. 😉
This past year has brought a lot of change. First and foremost, we are both happily living in Ohio! More importantly, we have become more connected with a group of incredible breeders who have become great mentors to us. We have entered the show world and now more than ever, we have felt the need and desire to fine tune our craft. We’ve added more gorgeous dogs to our program and have been taking all the suggestions and leadership from from our mentors to heart. We can’t wait to show you what’s coming next!
As for our annual family photos… it’s safe to say we had slim pickins! As you can see, our lively bunch of kiddos leaves us pretty much speechless. Managing our business with our fine set of “helpers” has been a challenge. 🙃 But we’ve also found one of our little ones completely enthralled with the breed- more on that coming soon!
We can’t wait to share lots of really exciting updates and stories with you. So buckle up, this ride is always interesting!

With love, Cassie & Carrie
Cam, Parker 8, Tucker 6, Juni 3, Alex, Cole 6, Claire 5 & Cohen 1.

PS. These kids!! 🙃🤪🤔🤷🏻‍♀️🤣🤦🏻‍♀️😮‍💨

😍Our last little one, Hazelnut is still looking for her family, unbelievably! I’ve lost count of how many families I’ve talked to about how wonderful she is but no one has taken the leap for her.
She comes from my most favorite line of the most wonderful, darling, sweet, lovable dogs in the entire world. Mama Rosie is the most gentle soul, calm, easygoing and my heart dog. 🥹 Big sister Violet is just as snuggly, adoring and wonderful as mama too. These three are literal triplets. ☺️
So, I have been lazy about posting Hazel because I just love her! She is one of the best puppies… Puts herself to bed every night, loves a good playtime, but probably blankies and snuggles more!
🥹🥰
