Washington Area Animal Adoption Group (WAAAG) is an all-volunteer animal rescue nestled in the beautiful rolling hills of Delaplane, VA, next to Barrel Oak Winery. We are dedicated to improving the lives of our furry friends. The WAAAG concept of offering a healing "timeout" for often abused, neglected and abandoned shelter animals is unique and well thought out. Twice a year, we team with Barrel

Oak Winery for a Fun Run to raise money for our rescue...
Come out for a morning run or walk through the beautiful Northern Virginia countryside. Enjoy winding trails with amazing views throughout the vineyard. After the run, bring your pup inside the winery for a free Wine or Beer Tasting!!!

🍁Course Guides - Cheer participants on and help make sure no one gets lost. The Course Guide positions would be a great opportunity for local high school students that need volunteer hours. Course Guides will be in groups of 2-3. Last year, we had students from 3 different HS helping out with the courses!

🍁 Registration desks - Checking people in, handing out swag bags.

🍁 Parking guides - Help guide people where to park.
