Zoey still gets a little anxious in the crate sometimes, so today we spent some extra time practicing just relaxing in the crate with the door open. During this time we are tidying the house and eating lunch, helping stimulate a typical day at home where she may need to relax away from her family.

Between tossing treats in, reinforcing the invisible boundary of the door and allowing her to experience relaxing in the crate with us around, her confident and comfort in the crate will increase with each repetition.
