We are searching for the newest member of our Care Attendant team!

Are you passionate about working with dogs? We’re a busy and growing dog daycare, boarding, and training facility that prides itself on top-quality care and a fun, safe environment for dogs of all sizes and personalities.

Position Highlights:
• Full-time (must be available weekends and holidays)
• Hands-on care for dogs in daycare and boarding
• Support training staff and maintain a clean, safe facility
• Monitor small group play and individual needs
• Feeding, cleaning, enrichment, and daily routines
Ideal Candidates:
• Love dogs and are comfortable with all breeds and sizes
• Reliable, team-oriented, and self-motivated
• Able to work on your feet and handle physical tasks
• Prior experience in pet care is a plus but not required

It’s National Pet Fire Safety Month! Let’s take this time to put some purposeful thought toward preventing unnecessary pet injury or death with these reminders:

- Have a fire escape plan that includes your pets.
- Use pet alert stickers on doors or windows.
(Indicating how many pets are in the home.)
- Keep cords organized and out of reach.
- Practice fire drills with your pets.
(Get geared up in a hurry!)
- Know your pet’s favorite hiding spots.
(This will help rescue efforts!)
- Keep leashes and carriers by the door.
- Keep pets away from open flames.
(Like candles or fireplaces)

🔆Summer Heat Reminder🔆

Hot weather can become dangerous for dogs much faster than many people realize. Keep these simple reminders in mind to help your pup stay safe this summer:

• Always provide fresh, cool water.
• Walk during the cooler morning or evening hours.
• Check the pavement before walks. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws.
• Never leave your dog in a parked vehicle.
• Provide plenty of shade when outdoors.
• Limit exercise during the hottest part of the day.
• Watch for signs of overheating like excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, or collapse.
• Try cooling mats, frozen treats, or a kiddie pool to help them beat the heat.

🐾 Microchip Check Week! 🐾

This week, we're scanning the microchip of every pet in our care.

Did you know that a microchip is only useful if the registration information is up to date? If your phone number, address, or emergency contacts have changed, it's important to update your pet's registration annually!

We'll provide microchip numbers to owners and send home a reminder for pets that do not yet have a microchip. Talk with your veterinarian about whether microchipping is right for your pet!

A microchip is a safe, permanent form of identification and one of the best tools for reuniting lost pets with their families.
