Thanks to our partners at the Matrix COC, Cold Weather Emergency Sheltering (CWES) will be available tonight, Tuesday, December 9th, at the DeFuniak Springs Community Center from 5PM - 7AM (361 N 10th Street, DFS FL).

Transportation:
1. Primary Option: Individuals are encouraged to provide their own transportation.
2. Secondary Option: Local law enforcement partners assist with transportation, provided staffing is available.
3. Tertiary Option: When neither of the above options are viable, Uber or tax services may be utilized, pending funding availability. To receive this service, the public is directed to call Candy at 850-307-8100.

Remember, cold weather sheltering is for ANYONE without sufficient heat! ❄️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone lifting us up in love and prayers during hurricane Helene😊♥️ We had a long night of rain and wind, and nervous fogs, but absolutely NO DAMAGE! Not even a tree branch down!! I went to sleep around 3am once it had quieted down, got up at 6 to a beautiful cool, sunshine day! ☀️♥️☀️ I'm actually going to lie down for an hour now that the critters are all taken care of 🐾♥️🐾 not going to my workshop till noon today! Love to all, Angie and furbabies ♥️🐾♥️

Happy hump day!! Hope this finds all of my family and friends in good health♥️ I haven't had much time for social media lately, but went to bed at 9 instead of 11, and woke up at 2 instead of 4! Lol. Sat outside with my dogs, can't believe how hot it still is😩 I watched the motion sensor lights on the barn go on and off several times, hoping it was just Tommy the tortoise doing a walk-about! Lol. Wasn't going out there to find out! Decided, since I was wide awake to cook dinner for us ( pulled pork) and 5 lbs of boneless, skinless chicken breasts with steamed rice for the senior dogs, they'll be very happy. 😊🐾 a lot of finish work to do on my lanterns and sconces today, wiring too, but tomorrow is a day off! Nona's night, every Thursday Doug, the grandkids and their partners come over for dinner and a swim!! Best day of the week!!! I take Sunday's off too, that day of rest is a necessity!! It's about 4:15 am now, and instead of getting up, I'm going back to bed for another hour or so 😊 my love to all, have a glorious day, Angie XOXO 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙🐾😊

It's 5am, only 75° , but with 98% humidity! The weather has been crazy!! Upper 80's and outrageous humidity means that any outdoor chores have to be done before 9, and it's either AC or pool until sundown!! It's far too early in the year for this weather!! Can't even imagine what July and August will bring! ugh!
