As is the WCAC tradition, our staff always chips in to celebrate birthdays and make everyone feel special. 🎉

Now...I'll admit I've been terrible about remembering to take pictures and post everyone's birthday celebrations. 🤦‍♂️ Oops!

Today, though, they turned the tables on me for my birthday!

Anyone who knows me knows I like to keep things fun around the clinic. It's a stressful job at times, and I want our team to enjoy coming to work (well...for the most part! 😜). I'm usually the prankster, and I can normally spot when they're trying to pull something over on me.

Well...I knew we were doing the birthday celebration today. What I didn't know was what they had planned.

When I walked in and they pulled this off, they genuinely scared the living daylights out of me! 😂 And trust me—I'm not an easy person to startle! I immediately told them, "Y'all better be careful...I'm getting old! Don't give me a heart attack!"

Needless to say...they got me good. 🤣

🐾 A Little Personal Post Today 🐾

This is my youngest daughter spending some quality time with her best friend.

A few months ago, our family had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to our old man. Losing a pet is never easy, and it leaves a space in our hearts that can never truly be replaced. Since then, the bond between these two has grown even stronger. Watching them together is a daily reminder of just how much our pets mean to us.
