A few beauties from the days we’ve worked this week. Will has been wonderful with holding things down on some days since I’m still having a little bit of a hard time and then been on the phone with attorneys trying to sort out.. well all the things! We should be full swing again starting tomorrow. I appreciate the concern and loyalty more than you guys know❤️🐶🐾❤️

Good morning. I would like to share something very deeply personal with you all. I know most are aware of my father’s passing just 5 months ago and now my mother just barely 2 weeks ago.
First, I want to thank Emerald Coast Hospice for the care they my parents and the total support they gave my family.
I would like to also sincerely thank Clary Glen Funeral Home for the beautiful services they gave both my parents.
So here is where I tell you what I AM NOT thankful for and why I have been out of touch and grieving so deeply-
My mother purchased burial plots from the City of Defuniak in 2023. She purchased four- for her, my father, myself and my husband. They charged her a very handsome price and gave her a contract stating the property if you wil that she now owned. In January when my father passed, he was put in his “designated” spot. He has been there since January 29th.
On June 23rd, the day of my mom’s funeral, we get there to find they are putting her two rows up from my father and inform me that “the city made a mistake” and that they were putting my mom in the correct spot and would later that afternoon dig my father up and move him.
Now I understand mistakes and grievances and I’m not saint myself, but the entire experience has literally traumatized me. Literally. My doctor says I am experiencing psychological traumatic stress syndrome, and let me tell you, it has wrecked me. I won’t go into the traumatic experience of her passing at the hospital and the sight and activity, but please know and understand- I love my business and my clients and I want to get back to grooming very soon but if I have canceled your appointment for now, it is because I am not able to be good for you and your furbaby when I can’t even be good for myself.

My mother’s sweet 6 year old spayed Shih Tzu is looking for a new lap. Unfortunately she doesn’t like other dogs so much or I would keep her. She loves cats!
