🐪🦂🌵Planned D Litter🐪🦂🌵

Katniss is the mother to my C litter, who are thriving in sport, service dog, and active companion homes. She has produced puppies with strong food, prey, and hunt drive. Each puppy has shown to be an improvement of her and the light of their owners eyes.
Katniss in herself is not only a successful sport dog but an amazing detection dog. With plans to work after this last litter. Anyone who has been around Katniss has seen how diligent and focused she is in every task put in front of her. Extremely handler focused and neutral with new people. Exceptional food, hunt and prey drive. Solid environmentals and always willing to push forward.

Shannon (Knox’s Owner) would describe him as:
A unique dog, he had an on/off switch with the ability to go from pet dog, to working dog who is serious in his work. He is serious about his protection work, and equally as kind to his family and friends. He is great with children, manageable prey drive, friendly with small animals, dog neutral. Even in his double digits, he is strong, healthy and still working. Knox has extremely high food drive, toy drive, and is clear headed. He is a unique balance of proper structure, health, intelligence, seriousness, and best friend.

He has dozens all his puppies are social, stable, and carry that beautiful on/off switch.

I’m currently accepting limited inquiries regarding this litter. This will be Katniss LAST litter before she is committed solely to detection and hence retired from breeding. Please message me if interested 💫

This is a special one for me. I’ve known Sam now for 4yrs, even before I decided to have a breeding program. She met Raptor and fell in love with him (who didn’t honestly).

The plan was for her to get a half sibling to him (Raptor), which the litter didn’t take. Then it was for her to get a Raptor puppy, which didn’t happen before his passing. Things didn’t seem to lineup until they did. She also needed the perfect dog that would help her be the person she is.

I originally had kept Chorus back not only to find him the perfect home, but to potentially add him to my service dog program. Very driven, neutral around people and dogs, handler engaged, and a natural off switch. The perfect dog for the right person. I had numerous people string me along or ghost me. One day it popped into my head to message Sam, but she beat me to it.

Fast forward to him leaving today and I couldn’t be more happy. It is always bitter sweet but with this puppy in particular, I know how much he is going to mean to her 💗

I’m proud to say all of my current breeding dogs have met CHIC requirements!

Excalibur and Puff will be finishing up their health testing very soon. Hopefully those boys will join the program “officially” as well

This past weekend Puff and embarked on our 1st herding (tending) AKC trial together!

With Puffs adolescent boy brain, my hopes were high but expectations tempered. We’ve been driving up once a week for herding classes with Leslie / Shepherds Lantern Herding, LLC, where we have grown and learned so much. With our limited training (less than 6 months), Puff was able to walk away with 1 Q towards his PT w/ boundaries. We have a bright tending future ahead of us and I can’t wait to see what that brings 🐑💙
